XFINITY Store

Like all internet providers nowadays they have a monopoly so they’re not cheap, but I just haven’t had the issues most ppl seem to be reporting. When Aloha experienced an outage, a tech was at my house same day to help. The customer service is clearly outsourced & those sales attempts are annoying (why are you still trying to sell me a cable package when I just told you I don’t own a TV?) But the in –store service was great, which is what I’m rating here. If I could rate Comcast based on their business practices or ethics they wouldn’t be getting quite so many stars (maybe one star, lol). But in terms of actual service provided at this local store and at my house, I have no complaints so far. Speeds are excellent and customer support does actually make every effort to help.

I recognize this doesn’t happen often, but after constantly calling Comcast via the phone and trying to move as they advertise it was an absolute nightmare. I’ve been without the services I’d been paying for entirely for over a month and in the process my bill almost doubled. It was the worst service I’d ever had and having been very patient despite it all I had still been hung up on several times.
I finally went into this branch of xfinity on ¹⁰⁄₁₂ and was immediately helped at the customer service counter by Miss Bruno. She was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to hear my frustration and long exhausting situation. She then immediately helped me reduce my bill, compensated me for the inconvenience and then went even further and had her manager figure out what went wrong. As of now I am the happiest owner of X1 platform DVR with high speed internet and was able to hook it all up myself with the help of the 1−855-OK-BEGIN. Glen on the other end of this call was beyond patient and helpful and I can finally get my work done and relax to tv when I want.
Unfortunately Miss Bruno usually works in Vancouver so I can’t say that anyone else will have this service here, seeing from other reviews. Nonetheless I could not be more grateful for the helpfulness and clarity I received today.

This has to have been the longest wait I’ve ever had. There were three employees sitting around while customers were waiting. One guy had been in the store waiting 30 minutes before I got there. Horrible service.

I went into the store to return some equipment as I was downgrading to Internet only. I found the staff rude and unwilling to take any steps to keep me as a customer. So I canceled on the spot and am now a Frontier FIOS customer. Thankfully I had a choice not to be stuck with these money grabbers! 50mbs down about 12 mbs up on Comcast vs. 30mbs up and down on Frontier for about half the price. Is Frontier great? No. But compared to Comcast, they’re saints. Do yourself a favor and switch if you have the option in your area.

As per all Xfinity and Comcast stores, long lines and waits with two people working. My equipment has stopped working twice and now I have to keep coming back to return their faulty equipment. They have is renting their equipment for $ 30 a month, and it doesn’t work. That’s $ 720 for the 2 years just for the equipment. Cut the cord time.
