Royal Moore Mazda

I do not recommend using the Service Department at Royal Moore. We took our 2004 Mazda 6 to Royal Moore Mazda Service for years. When the plugs started to go bad, Royal Moore suggested we replace eventually all six. We repaired 1, then 2 – 3, and then the rest (3 to 4 remaining). Then about a year later, after fed up with other bad customer service from Royal Moore Service, we took car for some work at a different mechanic shop. They told us at the time that 2 of the 6 plugs were severely worn. This new mechanic shop was surprised they were just replaced a year prior.
This has led us to believe that Royal Moore Service 1) did not replace some or all of the 6 plugs and/​or 2) replaced some or all of plugs with used parts. Which ever shady way they went, they still took a lot of money from us.
You pretty much have to hire a mechanic to go in and oversee what Royal Moore Service is doing to your vehicle being serviced; you have to call them out. Around the same time they replaced the plugs, they replaced a front headlight/​light casing on our Mazda 6. They broke/​cracked the front part and moisture got inside the light casing. We noticed when we brought car home. We brought it up to Royal Moore Service, and in return they tried to give us a bill of around $ 200 to fix it. We told them that this was their error in cracking the light casing, and they did a complete 360 and said, «Oh you are right that was our fault we will fix no charge». So, you really have to call Royal Moore Service out on their stuff.
So, today I am forced with a near $ 1000 bill from a reputable mechanic shop because Royal Moore Service most likely replaced our worn plugs with used plugs at full price. Make sure you shop around because there are places like Royal Moore Service that are all about making money and treating customers like idiots. I wish I could have done a ZERO stars review.

There service department is great! Everyone’s always been courteous and service always fast!

The salesman was great. He was helpful, not at all smarmy, and I didn’t feel dirty after agreeing on a price. The rest of the transaction was frustrating and — three weeks later — isn’t even complete. They still haven’t sent the tilting documents to DMV, nobody will call me back, and the trip permit expires this weekend. So I’ll have to find some other way of getting to work until they get around to sending in the paperwork. The finance manager also forgot to include a copy of one of the documents I signed in envelope of copies he gave me, and it took over a week of constant calling to get in touch with somebody who would send it to me.
Although the sale itself was a good experience, the rest of it was has been frustrating and I would not refer any friends to buy there.

What a total exercise in frustration this turned out to be. I wanted to buy a used Honda CRV for my daughter, who is 19 and in college in Portland. She doesn’t have wheels and getting there is no easy feat. So, I called ahead and got Connor on the phone. I explained that I wanted to make sure the car was in excellent shape so I wouldn’t have to worry about a young woman getting stranded on the side of the road.
Connor explained that the car and been thoroughly inspected at the dealerships but said he would test drive the car and call me back just to be certain. About half an hour or so the phone rings and Connor tells me he drove the car and everything checked out fine.
So, I made an appointment for my daughter, who caught a ride with some friends. The car starts up and makes such a loud racket that she didn’t feel safe even test driving it. Connor wasn’t there that day and Luis tried his best to be helpful. But it was a wasted trip to say the least. And I’m a cash buyer.
Also, I texted Connor to say I was puzzled by the disconnect. And shock of shocks, no reply to my text. I would not recommend this dealership or any of its affiliates to other Unilocalers. You can’t trust the service department to inspect the car properly or for the sales staff to give you accurate information.

I was down from Seattle and they were able to get my car in while I was here and fix the issue at a reasonable price– Feeling lucky and so pleased with the team and customer service at Royal Moore.

Found a car

We bought a new mazda cx from this dealer and two days my wife took the car to them to exchange it with Acadia and they order one for her and told her to keep the cx9 until the new car arrive and she will not lose any money and 15 days later they called her and to come and the suv has arrived when we took the car there and started the paper work they said the cx9 is worth 29 000 so the value of the new vehicle depreciated 10 000 in 15 days and they are the one who told her to keep the cx9 and oregon
Law allows people to turn the car within three days so they knew that if she keep the car after 3 days so she will lose the money
This dealer is unprofessional and don’t trust what ever they say and don’t even buy a car without checking the kelly blue book and if I were Mazda CEO I will resign if my vehicle depreciate 10 000 over night
So this dealer is not a trust worthy and I don’t advice anyone to buy a vehicle from them
This is too bad and I’m seeking an attorney to file a law suit against this dealer very soon so he can learn a lesson
This is the worst dealer in oregon and if u need a car go mercedes Benz of beaverton and Che k the service and the honesty and respect

My dad and I went in to get his Mazda 3 serviced and the man who helped us was very impatient and unfriendly with us. My dad is an older man but this gives them no right to speak to my father the way they did. If you expect friendly customer service, don’t go here.

Great customer service! Took my new 2015 Mazda 3 in to get its first service. I bought a service package when I first bought the car but they gave me a complimentary first service. So nice and unexpected! The technicians that worked on my car were so efficient and the report I recieved was so easy to understand. Yet another reason why I’m so glad that I chose Royal Moore!

Their service department is soooo bad I had to go through the Better Business Bureau to get a refund for a battery service analysis that not only was wrong, it was the shinny object that distracted the tech from finding the actual problem with my MX5. The problem was found and fixed at another dealer.

Customer service was poor when I went. One of the managers was snarky and seemed like a very shady person. He acted like we knew nothing about cars and offered us a horrible deal. As for the car salesmen, Mario is awesome! He is definitely a salesman (he will just tell you to come back into the dealership and won’t give you any numbers) but that is because of his boss. He is a great guy and was super fun to look at cars with.

Great service experience at Royal Moore Mazda. Delivered on time, service results as expected and I even got a free car wash out of it. This is about as good as it gets.

So, about a week ago I totaled my car. Before the wreck, buying a new car wasn’t even on the radar. I had a 2013 Mazda 3 that I really liked and expected to last me forever. Well, all of a sudden I needed a new car! I was torn between a Subaru and a Mazda but after shopping around I decided Mazda was a little more in my budget. My husband and I decided to check out Royal Moore. At first, it was a wonderful experience. Our salesman was Manny and he was young, hip, and excited about showing us cars. He knew a lot about Mazdas and was patient with all of our questions. We decided we wanted the 2014 Mazda 3 Hatchback and went to sit down for the financing part. Which is where it got ugly.
At this particular dealership, they have MSRP listed on the windows, and then they have THEIR price, which is about 2000 more per car. I explained to the guy that we did not feel it was fair to pay OVER MSRP. As soon as we started negotiating pricing (which is NORMAL for buying a car) Manny started getting defensive, rude, and obviously frustrated. His finance guy, whom never made an appearance, would not even consider helping us out with a price. When we sent him back an offer he wrote us a note in big bold black letters basically saying, screw you I am not going to offer you anything. I found it demeaning, rude, and quite honestly a turn off for any car dealership, who should do their best to help out the customer, especially one READY and needing to buy a car. Between the incredibly rude finance guy and Manny’s complete change in attitude, we decided to take our business elsewhere.
We drove down the road to Herzog-​Meier and their sticker price was already about 1000 lower than Royal Moore. They showed us what they had in stock and we sat down pretty quickly for financing. It was smooth, friendly, and quick, AND in the end we got the car WITH a warranty for about 2,000 less than they were offering at Royal Moore. While we were at Herzog Meier Manny called me twice trying to gain us back but at that point we were done with them. Hopefully this review will teach them to be a little more respectful to buyers.

I have always gotten good service at Royal Moore Mazda, and will continue to take my car there

I’ve had the worst experience with purchasing my car from Royal Moore. To start, the first salesman left me for over 40 minutes after having me take a test drive, alone. Multiple salesmen walked past me while I stood outside waiting to let someone know I was interested in purchasing the car. I, then, sought someone out to initiate the conversation that I wanted to make a purchase and hadn’t been helped.
Once someone was able to help me, it took 12 hours to finalize the sale of the vehicle. I sat around and waited all evening, attempting to stay positive, while other customers were helped who hadn’t been in the dealership before me. When I finally signed paperwork, it was after 11pm and I still had an hour’s drive home. Because it took so long, I wasn’t even provided with all the copies of the keys I purchased with my car. To date, I’ve yet to receive the additional keys. It’s been 23 days since the sale of my car.
Since signing my paperwork, it has taken the dealership 23 days and counting, this issue is still not resolved, to finalize the sale of the car and provide me the paperwork to pick up my license plates. I have had to buy 2 additional trip permits, at my cost, in order to drive my car. I am now no longer able to purchase another trip permit and cannot drive my car because this issue cannot be resolved. Every time I call, I’m passed around the finance department and not provided any answers. My voicemails go unreturned. The general manager is little help. The best anyone can provide is a «I’m really sorry.» Sorry doesn’t allow me to operate my car, instead I’m now relying on others to help make sure I can get to work, run errands, and manage all other day to day tasks that so many people rely on their cars to do.
I would give zero stars if it were possible. This has been the worst car buying experience, I didn’t know I could experience such poor customer service. From the start, it’s been horrible. Do not buy a car here.

Very happy with my purchase at Royal Moore Mazda. Henry was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. The CX-​5 that I purchased was exactly what I wanted at a good price. The finance portion of the transaction was the only part lacking. Pretty high sales pitch — almost awkwardly so. Overall a great experience!

I’ve been bringing my Mazda5 to Royal Moore since I bought it in 2008. They always take good care of me, are friendly and I never feel that I’m getting pushed any unnecessary service. I go out of my way to being it here as I feel that they do the job right.

The sales staff is friendly, not pushy, and very helpful. Royal Moore sells several major brands of cars, including Mazda, so it’s a great place to pick out the right kind of car that fits you. They have a pretty decent test drive path laid out, which is designed to test the car at various speeds. They even let you «gun it» on an often empty road. I was really pleased with my shopping and purchase experience. Post-​purchase, they have a service center for regular maintenance and repairs. I am dropping my review by one star because of the service center’s staff. They seem to do an alright job but they are not overly friendly and can be rude at times. They also seem overly burdened by your needs.

I dread coming into a car dealership for anything-​and Royal Moore Mazda Service Center confirmed why. I needed a replacement key. I had an insurance deal that Royal Moore sold me which paid the $ 300 for the replacement key. I knew it wasn’t a good sign when none of the employees I spoke with knew what I was talking about and were pretty sarcastic with me about it.
I made my appt at 1000 hours and arrived on time. At 1100 hours, I inquired about the long wait.
