The Recreation Center at Eastridge

I’ve gone to the Eastridge Rec Center for many years but this was the first time I used them as a «gathering» facility for a celebration. I found the price to be quite reasonable, staff to be friendly and helpful and the facility to be very clean. When I showed up to set up my room (the Monarch Room) the chairs and tables were already set. Unfortunately, I found (my mistake) there was no screen for my slide show… agh! Rory, one of the facilities guys helped me get through my issue immediately! Since the other half of the room wasn’t being used he suggested we open the wall and reset the room for use of the screen. Whew! He and my helpers quickly got chairs and tables moved, projector set up and ready! Everything else went off without a hitch! Thank you Rory and Eastridge!
I would definitely recommend the Eastridge facilities for parties/​celebrations. They were great from the beginning to the end!

Rec center is fine…
Rarely do I fight PC culture. Unfortunately, today got under my skin. Zara and I were scolded for bringing a blue, jetson-​style, water-​squirting contraption to the neighborhood pool. «No toys resembling weapons are allowed! Don’t bring them back.» No posted policy, I checked. When I asked to see the policy, I watched the staff check the website, the handbook, and finally they printed a Microsoft Word document that had the «Pool Policy». So much for the laughter and fun that my daughter had. I am thoroughly disappointed in my community. Can we please stop taking everything so seriously and let kids be kids… at the POOL?
(I got my revenge because I realized I was chewing gum the whole time… and that’s against policy :) SMH!

I came here with my boyfriend yesterday to practice with our new snorkel gear before we go on a cruise. However, this place was teeming with people and the lap lanes were being shared by multiple people at once. This place was huge though! Multiple pools, a rock climbing wall, tons of workout equipment, and apparently this place has a unisex sauna/​steam room that I was so excited to use! But because of the number of people, we decided to snorkel at Northridge Rec instead, since it’s known to be less crowded. The cool thing, is that my day pass was transferable from this rec center to Northridge and I didn’t have to pay twice to use the facilities. Even though I didn’t get to fully experience this place, I plan on coming back in the future, especially since I’m dying to use the sauna!

Best swim instructor around teaches here and if you are lucky enough to get Sammy with regular lessons you won’t be disappointed. Otherwise, you will need to sign up for private lessons and ask for her specifically.

As with any Highlands Ranch Rec Center — this facility is fully stocked with great equipment. Eastridge is best known for it’s cardio machines, rock wall climbing and indoor pool area (which includes an indoor slide). This is perfect for families!
They recently renovated the weight lifting area and expanded it by removing the arcade area (which no one used anyhow).

I love the rec center at Eastridge in Highlands Ranch Colorado, I some times stop in before work for a quick lap around the track, Annette is always happy to see me in the morning. The team is friendy and keep every thing very clean! Keep up the good work! My kids really love to pool and water slide!

Great swimming area. Lots of place outside to sit back and enjoy. The family bathrooms are limited, so be patient for those.

Highlands Ranch is a great community — if you live here, you have free access to the four different rec centers in the city once you get your membership card. The eastridge rec center is the closest one to me, and the only one i’ve been to so far, but it is great! we did the morning boot camp class with SImon for a while and man was it a great workout! there’s also a good amount of cardio equipment, a kids pool and a lap pool (both indoors), a large gym for basketball, weights, and a track upstairs if you want to run around instead of on a treadmill. the locker rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly, and i have a good experience every time i come!
