Fortunately I caught their website and noticed they were moving the street. The customer service is fantastic. They did increase their prices some, before they moved, I thought we always got two pieces of sushi /nigiri, but now it is only one piece. We had been there a few days before, the smoked salmon sushi was fantastic — we even ordered more. Unfortunately this visit, it was still good, but it was a little tougher, it didn’t melt in your mouth like before.

Delicious!!! Great modern environment matched by quality sushi! They’ve also got a nice sized patio for enjoying a meal on a warm day. I wasn’t sure what to expect being in a strip mall, but I was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, even for them being very busy on a Friday night. And the rolls were perfect! Not too big to fit into your mouth in one bite, and perfect proportion of roll to rice! And although they were completely full, the food still was out in less than 15 minutes! This is definitely going to be my go-to sushi place in Highlands Ranch!

Sushi was excellent. Spicy edamame was great. Service was meh. Need to wrap their rolls tighter. A great new place with a fun atmosphere. I’ll be going back.

First time visit, also the last. This place really nothing special, the egg roll are so grease, sushi rolls are too sweet, sashimi are not good grade fish, serving raw fish with Luke warm temperature. People need to learn what is «Sushi«& «Fresh«mean.

It was good, not bad… They are closing down for a while til they move. Hopefully the staff is a little more attentive. The sushi is pretty good. Small place but heard the new spot is nice and bigger I support locals so it’s good once in a while. We checked out that Okinawa at Lone tree. Really good, high grade sushi. give them a try also. I’m looking forward to seeing the new place when it opens… Lots of variety for rolls here.

My girl said the sushi was great. They have a good selection. I’m not a sushi person, but the kitchen food was pretty good. Drinks weren’t awesome, but good enough. Service was slow. The waiter would actually leave in the middle of us ordering. It is definitely cozy seating as the tables are super close together and its a rather small joint. It appears very popular by the amount of people in and out to pick up and take food home.

This review is on my delivery experience, so perhaps the dining experience merits a 4 star rating. Good: The delivery is free. Bad: The delivery took an hour and twenty minutes. I realize sushi can take some time, but this seems pretty excessive considering I live close to the restaurant. I ordered combination fried rice, rainbow roll, bronco roll, playboy roll, spicy tuna roll, and 4 pieces of sashimi. The delivered the hot rice with my cold sushi rolls stacked on top of each other in the same bag. My sushi was luke warm, as was my rice. Not appetizing. The playboy roll which is raved about in reviews on here was not great, the crunchy tempura was very soggy– perhaps this is one of those things that should not be ordered take out. The rest of the rolls and rice were just meh, I’ve had far better at other local establishments for a fraction of the cost. Definitely not worth the $ 80 including tip for delivery driver.

Good sushi in HR! My family recently moved from California and if you’ve eaten Sushi in San Francisco you know that it’s some of the best outside of Tokyo! When we walked into this little restaurant we didn’t expect much. We tend to order more Nigiri vs Sushi Rolls. We were pleasantly surprised at the fresh fish and friendly service. In my opinion. The Tokyo roll and Playboy roll are definitely worth trying. The restaurant can get a little crowded during 6 – 7:30pm. Once again the quality of the fish is good and melts in your mouth!

This sushi place has a lot of cooked rolls in addition to raw ones if that’s what pulls your heart strings. Sadly they make what, I personally feel, are giant sushi rolls which don’t fit in my mouth in one bite and yet totally fall apart if you try to bite it in half. They also don’t have any cool alternatives to nori like seasoned soy paper. For those reasons I always drive further away to visit Blue Sushi Sake grill by the theater.(They have amazing happy hour too.) The other reason we rarely visit here is I always get the feeling that the waitstaff hate serving you. I don’t really want to go to a restaurant where the mood is so dour. If it’s killing them to serve me when I’m extremely polite, happy and respectful, the person should probably change jobs but I’ve gotten that vibe every single time we’ve visited whether the restaurant was slow or busy.

Unfortunately, I’m going to have to agree to disagree with any reviewers giving this eating establishment anything over a star. Could have been the night(Friday) I chose to get a few rolls, some sushi, and some yaki udon to go(I do have a 6 mo old at home) but the quality of the food was inexcusable. I have NEVER had to throw sushi out; I fed my garbage can the leftovers and even it didn’t like it. I found the rolls to be very gummy — the right texture was lacking. The seaweed wasn’t even adequate in my opinion. Finally, I thought I could get better quality fish from whole foods. I was genuinely disappointed. Fontana Sushi on Bowles & Wadsworth is 10x better in quality and price.

By far the best sushi in town! Ok, I’ll admit, I might be new at this whole sushi thing… I was very hesitant for a long time but about a year ago I tried it for the first time and completely fell in love! How could I have gone this long depriving my foodie self of sushi, I finally got what everyone always raved about! Being new to town, my husband and I were on the hunt to find the best sushi in town. Sushi Mango has an insane selection of speciality rolls(for those of you, like me, that are fairly new to sushi) the rest of the menu is just as delicious and fresh. The service is always on point. Whenever we decide to try a new sushi place people tells us about, we always find ourselves coming back to Sushi Mango.

When it comes to Sushi in land locked Denver — this is as good as we’ve had. Excellent — we’ll be back(often).

Went to Sushi Mango last night and had some Sake and Beers. We ordered the soft shell crab app, the fried oysters, and the Gyoza. All were outstanding. While we had our drinks and apps, we put in our sushi order(to go). I can’t remember all the we ordered, but it was all outstanding. 40 – 50 pieces, everyone was great. I live less than a mile from this place. They will see me at happy hour a bunch! BTW, the lady that left the one star for the amount of rice used… Really??? Maybe you need to just fix your own sushi.

If I had to bring someone for Sushi, this goes to the top of the list! We visited on a Friday night and they were at capacity… and once we got the food it was easy to see why, excellent! Sashimi, while pricy($ 2 per Tako piece, $ 2.50 Salmon piece) was as good as we’ve had here in Denver. The Mango Roll was excellent. The fish and tempura were delicious and the rice was perfect! The Mango Cream Cake was a good finish… just sweet enough to be a dessert, just lite enough to finish off a sushi meal.

Just relocated to the area and was looking for a neighborhood sushi spot. Unfortunately, we won’t be frequenting this one. Our 3 sushi rolls took over an hour and our waiter was largely MIA; meanwhile, other tables around us were served left and right. No water refills, no check-ins whatsoever. I’m not sure if they were showing favoritism toward regulars or if there was a kitchen mix-up or what. They did comp us a beer and a miso, which adds back a star — the gesture was certainly appreciated. The sushi was o.k., but nothing to write home about.

Wow. Just wow. Came here with a Groupon and have been here before. First time was promising, it wasn’t the best sushi ever but worth another try since it’s so close to us. But this time we got several specialty rolls and specifically asked for brown rice on two of them. As we were eating, we were noticing now tiny the rolls were. Very tasty but so little rice they were just like appetizers to us instead of a complete dinner. We were already $ 40 into it too so hoping to be at least moderately for when we left. Then, we also noticed that the brown rice was not at all brown; it was very, very white. I’m very experienced with brown rice so I know what it looks like. So we told the waiter about the brown rice and also about how paltry the rice around it was. I mean, I’ve never seen a sushi roll with this little rice around it. He said he’d check on it and then came back and told us that we were mistaken, that it is brown rice but that it just looks really white and he confirmed with the chef that it’s brown Didn’t say anything about the amount of rice at all. I looked very nonplussed I’m sure, but he just walked away. Then he came back, left our bill quickly and scurried away as if he didn’t want to talk to us anymore. We had a Groupon so kept trying to get his attention so we could apply it. But he never would make eye contact with us again. So then, I noticed a lady who looked like the owner and pulled her over and asked her to apply the Groupon. Then I asked her if she was the owner and she said yes. So I told her that our rice was definitely not brown and also that our issue with the amount of rice was never addressed. She told us that she also confirmed the rice was indeed brown and that because it’s different consistency it packs differently and looks smaller(BS). I said no it was not that but rather it was as if a thin single-Grain layer was surrounding the roll. She said, well come in next time and maybe it will be better. I said, «we are not coming back based on this.» And she said NOTHING and WALKEDAWAY. You can see by my other reviews I’m not some sort of constant complainer so not looking for things to get upset about. But boy, were my husband and I both upset when we left. Our waiter came back with our credit card, left it on the table and didn’t say thank you or anything. Hard to believe someone cares that little about their customers, but clearly these people don’t give a crap. It’s too bad cuz their sushi is pretty good for a suburban sushi place, and maybe you’ll get a decent amount of rice when you go but if you don’t or have any other issue, don’t count on anyone trying to address your concerns.

Sushi Mango turns out good sushi, especially the Playboy Roll, topped with a jalapeño garnish. The Mango salad is big enough to share. Being a small storefront, when the door opens, you get hit with a bit of a chill. And, our usual waiter sometimes disappears for a bit. With a little polish, Sushi Mango will get a higher rating.

Great sushi, awkward service. If you’re in the immediate area, it’s definitely a great sushi option, but not somewhere I’d drive out of my way for(which for me, it’s out of the way). Decent lunch specials. Quick service.

What a great neighborhood sushi place. I was sad to see Sushi Nori(the old place) close — but was very happy that the location just switched owners. Although a new menu, you can still order from the old one — including their«Highlands Ranch Roll!» Overall, great service and food. The prices are a bit higher than what they used to be but still a great option when looking for sushi.
