The award winning Comfort Suites in Highlands Ranch, CO offers an all suite product with large rooms that either have one King or two Queen size beds. This place was actually pretty good for being a no-​frills hotel. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and a decent rate for Denver. Being next to the freeway, there is road noise, so the rooms were not totally quiet. Just use the fan as I did to help me sleep. The overnight clerk was fine, just not the most welcoming, and the entryway needs some updates and character built into it to freshen it up a bit. Thus why I gave it 3 vs 4 stars. For the price, its a great hotel. Breakfast was a bonus too.

This place was awesome. From the moment you step in, and you have fresh-​baked cookies and lemonade waiting for you… you know it’s going to be a great stay. Julian at the front desk was there with a smile… to greet you and make sure you had everything you needed. Got up to my room (2nd floor was so convenient because you could take the stairs right there instead of wait for the elevator) and found it clean and spacious. It was only me, but there was plenty of room! Love the pillows (firm in the back, soft in the front) and the chocolates waiting for me when I entered. Night sleep was great… In the morning, breakfast downstairs — great as well. Standard but did the job and kept me full until lunch. Just watch out for the $ 1.50 charge for the safe. I didn’t use it and requested it be refunded to me… which they happily did. I really don’t want to pay for something I’m not using. Otherwise, it was a great stay and I’d love to come back!

Beautiful, clean rooms. Booked this through Trivago and we are really pleased. We definitely will stay here again. Friendly staff. Plenty of room for our family. Hooray! Great shopping area close by, too!

I have done a lot of carpet repair work for the owners of this hotel. They are very conscious of keeping their hotels up to date and clean. They have always been easy to deal with and take pride in their property. The last time I did work for them I noticed they added charging docks for each room. I thought that was pretty cool. I don’t stay in hotels all the time but I’ve never seen that before.

Friendly staff is only positive I can give.
Messed up reservations. Older rooms. Not «suite» like at all. Cable problems. Hot tub sits out in parking lot basically. Parking lot too small. Come to this area a lot and have stayed in several of the other motels. All have been better for same or better money.
I won’t stay in this one again.

This was a pretty nice hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy, free breakfast and the view was amazing! The only thing I can really complain about is being able to hear through the walls a bit. I could hear people right on the other side of my headboard. Not clearly so I didn’t know what they were saying bit I could still hear them. I could also hear someone throwing up when I was getting ready in the bathroom. That was a little gross. But besides that, I would stay here again. I wouldn’t be around all day anyway so the talking walls wouldn’t bother me too much. :)

Very clean, pleasant staff. Quiet. Close to some GREAT shopping! (IKEA and a fab mall), close to interstate. Bathroom is small, but it has a tub complete with a lovely shower withOUT the dreaded shower efficiency head so that’s a plus. Did I mention the room was clean? Even the sofabed smelled fresh. The breakfast was a little generic, but the lady managing it was so courteous and helpful it’s hard to complain. Starbucks right across the street, so go there if you want coffee. We were right by the elevator which made me cringe but the room was super quiet despite that fact. Pool in a weird location, but we didn’t have time to swim anyway. Will def stay again.

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is incredibly friendly, they have fresh baked cookies every evening, the rooms are clean, and it’s a great location. Everything that the other reviews say are true. The jacuzzi is in a weird spot outside so I never wanted to go in it. But other than that, it was really great. Oh, the batteries in the remote were dead and something was wrong with the clock too but otherwise I had a fantastic stay and it was a sad day when I left! Highly recommended.

Cons: Slow wifi, Weird upholstery on the love seat in the room, like outdoor fabric? Small bathroom. Spa tub sits in a tiny fenced in enclosure, outside overlooking the parking lot (fail)
Pros: Fresh cookies at reception in the evenings, great rooms that are clean and well kept, comfortable beds with a selection of pillows– so you’ll find one that fits. All parking is close by. Full breakfast in the mornings. Fridge, micro, coffee maker in the room.
Hint: Krispy Kreme is right around the corner, you can tell when they have fresh donuts ’cause the HOT LIGHT will be on!

What a great find. For a suite-​type hotel in the area, this can’t be beat for accommodations, location and value. I stayed for a month on business and could not have been happier. Small-​ish hotel with super-​friendly staff; large, clean room with comfy california king, separate living area and mini-​fridge micro. They even set up an oversized office area for my work. Internet in guest business area is secure which is nice. (public net in rooms) Walking distance to some decent restaurants, grocery. Good, full am breakfast and pm (weekday) munchies plus fresh choc chip cookies. Serviceable (not huge, but it’s fine) exercise room. It’s not fancy but its a terrific value and beats the long-​term stay places on the east side of I-​25 (and I checked them all before I stayed here). Who ever gave this one-​star because of a key-​card problem is very short-​sighted in my opinion. I travel long-​term for biz and pleasure a lot and the CS is one of the best suites experience for the money I’ve ever had!

Very poor customer skills by the clerk at the front desk. I was attempting to ask her a question and clarify their «policy» that I had to sign agreement to when I checked in. She would not let me finish and kept interupting me saying «They won’t do that.» She would not allow me to finish my question and would not listen. She just kept interupting me.
Then the key card wouldn’t work. She rekeyed it but still wouldn’t open the door. She said I must be doing something wrong so she tried it. Surprise! It still didn’t work. Finally gave me a new key card and this one worked.
When I finally got in the room the TV didn’t work. I tried all the outlets, etc. but no luck. I notified the girl at the front desk who said to just wiggle the cable on the back until it works. Sounds like a good fire hazard.
The tissues they had stuffed in the box to look like a flower (?) looked more like used tissues.
Room was nice and comfortable.
Wi-​Fi connection was amazingly slow.
Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs were nice. Had a little more variety of food than most Comforts.

The room was very nice and had an upscale look to it, actually much nicer than I had expected for a hotel in this price range. It was quite spacious and very clean. First thing I usually do when I check into a hotel is check the room for cleanliness (bed sheets/​pillows, bathroom) and this one passed with flying colors. The bathroom was pretty small but adequate and, again, also very clean so the size didn’t bother me much. Don’t expect much of a view from any of the rooms in this hotel (highway or parking lot) but that was not an issue for me either. There are restaurants and businesses like a Walgreens (in a strip mall across the street) within walking distance of this hotel. The hotel is right off the highway. The area is safe and looked pretty clean. Breakfast was included and while it wasn’t exactly a premium gourmet breakfast it was just fine. Coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, hot waffles with fruit topping or syrup, scrambled eggs, cereal, some apples etc. The ladies who cleaned up at breakfast were always super friendly and attentive, always said good morning and really made you feel welcome, just like the rest of the staff in the hotel. Overall, I got the impression they appreciate your business and care about their customers. After I checked out, I realized I forgot to print my boarding pass. I went back in and the front desk staff (or manager?) walked me down the hallway to the computer and showed me where to print it. Bottom line: I was very satisified, great stay, would stay here again.
