Home automation products you can add to your system include cameras, thermostats, door locks, and lighting. Free iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, Android, and Windows apps are available so you can control your system from the convenience of your phone or iPad.

History

Established in 2009.

Vault Alarm started out as a traditional security alarm company that serviced Utah customers by installing security systems in customer’s homes. As we served our customers we found they wanted more from their security systems than just arming and disarming their system, they wanted home automation services that could be controlled from the internet and their phones. Furthermore we found customers wanted a less expensive monthly monitoring cost. The solution we found was to sell 2GIG security and home automation products with an Alarm​.com self-​monitored account. Now we can service all of our customers nationally by pre-​programming their security panels and adding automated services like thermostats, locks, lights, and even cameras (powered by Alarm​.com), and then shipping the products directly to our customers.

Manager

I studied accounting at Utah State University and continued on with my Masters of Accounting at Brigham Young University. After graduating I worked as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) for KPMG. After leaving public accounting I’ve worked as a controller for various companies. I then teamed up with my brother-​in-​law Adam Krueger and we started Vault Alarm. We started this company with the goal in mind to help protect families and secure homes, thus making our careers meaningful to us by serving others in this way. My goal is that all our customers are happy with the quality service we strive to deliver.
