Nestled on the banks of the Hudson River, in Highland, NY is Mariner’s on the Hudson, the only true waterfront restaurant in the area. Located on the northwest side of the Walkway over the Hudson, New York’s grandest state park, is a seafood and grill restaurant that offers the locals the comfort of home and a traveling visitor a spectacular experience of the Hudson Valley. With our outside patio extending onto the river, our guests are surrounded by the sounds of trains rushing past, a myriad of birds and fish, and an up close and personal view of two of the oldest bridges in the state.
Dine on our deck at twilight and you will watch the moon rise over the Poughkeepsie skyline. Sit at the Tiki bar and watch numerous sizes of boats and ships sail by. From inside our dining room you can gaze out the window and watch the tide turn directions in a most unique way. Whether it is a sunny summer afternoon or a rainy spring day, the view from Mariner’s will always provide a relaxing break from the day to day grind.

Established in 1979.
Mariners on the Hudson in Highland NY has long been a staple in the Hudson Valley. This restaurant has seen its share of interesting guests such as Phil Rizzuto, Frank Sinatra, and numerous Pro Athletes.
The new Walkway over the Hudson Bridge has now brought guests from around the world to share the spectacular view of the Hudson River. Sit on the front or side deck and get a up close and personal view of the river, feed the fish, and ducks.

Our famiily purchased Mariners on the Hudson in February 2010. Rich and Connie Dutra and Billy Phillips are excited to bring our extensive hospitality experience to the river front. Our backgrounds range from high volume co-operate trainers to small business owners. We hope to fuse the meticulous attention to detail stressed in the co-operate world and the personal touch from the small town establishment to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.
