I hadn’t heard of Save A Lot, but was looking for an alternative to the Milford Kroger, and thought I’d give it a shot.
It was… disappointing. It kind of reminded me of an Aldi, with the number of brand-​name knockoffs. But looking around, there were a fair amount of name brand items, and prices weren’t bad.
This seems like an okay store for really basic staples (including their very limited produce section), but to be honest, I was really surprised to see a store like this in Highland rather than Pontiac.
