Muvico Hialeah 12

Seriously??? you have to make the line at the
concession stand to purchase tickets? so if there is a long line of people buying food, you have no choice but to wait forever!!! Where is management or who suggested this super bright idea? Substandard service in my book, especially on a weekend with large crowds attending the movies. I’m n either case, I asked to speak to a Manager and he stated that corporate mandated this new procedure. That he tried to change it, but was overruled.
What a shame, after revamping the place, bringing good food & beers. Last time visiting this place.

It a shame this place has any stars… worst staff. but all starts with managnent… this place needs to close down and need to make some other business here in hialeah. knock the building down and build another gym or store… it is a nightmare even to park … the only place this movie theater could work is if it works by machines and no humans. I am only putting one star due to Unilocal not allowing me to post 0 or negative starts

I’m very impressed how customer service has changed. The manager of the theater is very attentive and friendly, even the staff are friendlier. Thanks Carlos Castro for making a difference.

Ok. Nothing special. Really expensive.

The staff needs to be changed. I come in with my 8yr old daughter and the staff behind the counter playing grab ass and the language. No one needs to hear about who they sleep with a details while you are being served popcorn. I will definitely be calling the corporate office because this is the 3^rd time I see this. Granted it’s in Hialeah so us Miami Springs residents use this theater but just because it’s in the hood does not mean it needs to be sub-​standard. I will drive to Cobb Theater in Miami Lakes for now on.

I went to this movie theatre with my 9 years old son… It was my first time and the pictures seem ok. But… the moment we arrived to the mall, the nightmare began… The parking lot was crowded… we had to park half mile away… I had the tickets bought online, but they sent us to the concession stand to pick up the 3D glasses… We did not want to buy anything, but anyway, we had to queue for half an hour … the cashier was extremely slow … when we arrived the theater, we had to sit in the front row … Very bad experience ;(… I do not recommend this movie theatre at all.

Im sorry but i just came to this muvico since is the closest to my house and oh man, im never coming here ever again, So i bought the tickets online, the movie was going to start at 7:05pm d-​box. kingsman, once i got there the registers that face the streets were close there was no sign telling you where the registers at in order to get the tickets. i had to make a huge line in order to get the tickets that i already bought. there were 4 employees selling food/​tickets. and were plain slow, i guess. there was 5 people in front of me so i went on and asked the guy if we had to wait to get the tickets because it was already 7:05, the young guy politely told us that they can;t, we had to make the line, no problem, paid over $ 40 dollars for two people to watch d box right? guess what… when i was walking to the salon that i was suppose to go to, there was to person asking for tickets what so everrrr, it was empty of employees like seriously i paid $ 40 dollars for no reason i could have just come inside if anyone would ask me anything i would just be like im going to the bathroom and thats it, jump to the salon, it was crazyyyy, next time if you wanna watch a free movie come to this place. Oh and the movie said 7:05 and i know that they always put comercials but this time thy went beyond far… the movie started at 7:45 40 mins of commercials. not nice at all

OK this movie theater is terrible the staff is mean or rude and the theater is disgusting absolutely disgusting I went to go see Interstellar with my husband at the MUVICO theater on W 49 St Hialeah this theater is a dump. The popcorn they gave us was all burnt and disgusting. The volume for the movie had gotta be at 100 because it was really loud the theater room was gross there were broken 3D glasses on the floor and so much popcorn and candy it was like a 50,000 feet garbage truck in there don’t go this movie theater it sucks and you’ll be treated badly

I only gave it 1 star to be able to write this review. I went with my family to watch Anabelle which came out yesterday. Once we got to the lobby you see that it is filled with immature middle school/​high school aged kids everywhere that act like animals. We thought about leaving but decided to stay since it was already late (movie started at 10:40pm). The room we were in was pretty large, seats are fine. But the people there were so rowdy and loud. They were screaming out bad words, banging on the walls, singing inappropriate songs to the top of their lungs and there was even a time where someone pulled out a taser and started playing with it. I had enough and immediately went to the manager who was there at the food court and told her everything in which she did nothing about it. She said they were going to send someone, they didn’t. I went again and she said the cop was going to be there, he never showed up. Threw out the whole movie people were constantly talking loudly, on top of that every second you’d hear «SHHHH!!» And «SHUT THE F*CK UP ALREADY!» …this is the last time my family and I will ever be at this movie theater since they seem to attract uncivilized people. Oh, and the bathrooms were the cherry on top to it all. Smelled horrific, toilet paper all over the floor, pee ON the floor. Nope never again. I’m surprised this place is still open.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to this movie theater. But since last time I came here when all was renovated beautifully and the seats where great and comfy to now like night and day. It seems to me whoever is managing this property doesn’t take pride in his work cause not only did I have to buy my tickets at the concession stand but when I go to sit at least 15 – 20 seats in the small theatre where broken you couldn’t sit comftable cause your leaning on the seat or almost laying in the ground. The worst part is I was there with my kids to see teenage mutant ninja turtles, just came out and they have it in the smallest theater room they have. The place was packed cause it’s new movie and they have it in the small one. It was so bad I remember one guy having to sit in one of the broken seat and his face was about 8″ from the seat in front. I will never go here again all my kids where disappointed.

The most DISGUSTING theater I have ever been to, ever. Both the women’s & men’s bathrooms were completely filthy. I will spare you the details, but it was enough to get me and my friends to never return.
It was shocking to see so many employees AND management just walking around ignoring the bathrooms.
The seats in the theater also reclined way too far back, uncomfortably far back to the point where you are halfway into the row behind you.
Unbelievable that this place is in business. Only in Hialeah, I suppose.

I’m giving this movie theater a five star, let me explain why! I only come here during the day and mostly during the weekdays and some Saturdays during the day so there isn’t a lot of people around. If you ignore the fact that it is in Hialeah and you go out of time where there isn’t a lot of people from the area you will have a great time. The theater is huge the seats and everything has been renovated. They have a great arcade room where i take my son every chance I get. And if they come when you’re not busy the services is always great!

I hate coming here. If you have to come here come during the day before 5 and try to avoid Friday and Saturday nights because you will be surrounded by a sea of underage kids just loitering inside and outside the movie theater. When they remodeled the theater I thought it would be for the better and it kind of made things worse. You’re better off going else where in all honesty.

They have a game room, D-​Box & sell liquor-what’s not to love?

I just wanted to take the time to let EVERYONE know about my terrible experience at Muvico in Hialeah 14. I usually go to the Muvico by my house in Tampa and never once have had a horrible experience. But, as I was on vacation in Miami I went to the Hialeah theater and it was the biggest mistake I did on my trip. The HORRIBLE customer service makes this location a DISGRACE to your corporation! First off we get to the movies to see Fast 6 (Saturday, 4/​27, 11:20pm showing) the lady at the box office was distasteful and rude. In the middle of her helping us she tells us to «hold on» as she leaves and goes inside to talk to one of her friends. Another worker comes out and asks for the next person in line and so we decided to go to her for help. I told the girl that was helping us how rude the other girl was and she simply brushed me off and rolled her eyes as if my opinion is of no value to anyone. Next, we were asked to wait in a long line on the side to get into our theater. Management decides to rip our tickets at 11:20pm on the dot, of course this is causing everyone to decide to skip others in line. It was chaotic! Children were being knocked down, people were stepping on people, I had others walking into me with their food– it was so unorganized and frustrating. As we are going in there are two women that were ripping tickets in the front of the line and one man who I assumed to be the manager ripping tickets on the side of the line. That was a stupid idea! Because now you have people rushing to the side of the line and those people getting their tickets ripped would essentially have to get their stubbed checked twice cause more CONFUSION and line congestion. I had my ticket ripped on the side by the gentleman and as I proceed to walk in through the ladies I show her my ticket stub and keep walking in an effort to let other’s pass. This lady has the NERVE, the NERVE!!! to yell at me and tell me to «wait like everyone else.» Funny thing is– I DID FOR FORTY– FIVE MINUTES AND ACTUALLY HAD OTHERS SKIP ME IN LINE WHILE I WAITED PATIENTLY. That was my limit!!! So I voiced my opinion about the horrible management and customer service so the «manager» if you want to call him that– runs up to me (the same guy who ripped my ticket) and asks «what’s my problem» with an ATTITUDE!!! I can’t believe this!!! His name is ALEX ROJAS– as he so proudly told me with a disgusting attitude. The movie was great (fast 6– go see, just not at a Muvico theater)! As we come out the movies there was vomit in front of the door and no one was around to clean it up. I went to use the bathroom the first stall was flooded with diarrhea and the second stall had urine everywhere– at this point I just left! I left disgusted and annoyed with this place! NEVER AGAIN!!! I will make sure to tell everyone about this!!! Muvico– make sure to tell «ALEX ROJOS» and his employers to learn some manners and how to talk and treat people! Customer Service doesn’t cost extra to teach– Next time I will drive the extra mile for the Cobb.

I still stand by my original review; however, if you do not have any other theater to go to because of this one’s proximity and ticket pricing, then I suggest to go on Sundays. I’ve gone twice on a Sunday, one time at 5pm and the other at 11ish and did not experience anything bad. And so, that is the best time to go.

I haven’t been to a movie in years. I am ashamed to say what the previous movie was, but when we went out for a movie night out — we went all the way. Conan the BARBARIAN in 3-​D. That’s what.
Hialeah has this really cool theater with tons of screens including 3-​D screens, a video game room and a snack bar that sells beer and wine. You don’t even have to sneak it in, lol.
When we bought the tickets, we had to pick our seats. It was the weirdest thing ever — because they were practically all taken. Walk into the theater — no one. Perfect, we had our own row, own theater practically.
The movie was really cool, a little gory in 3-​D action — but that’s what makes me so animated. The exciting parts. The seats were comfy and arm rests were adjustable.
Great theater. I would watch a lot more movies if there were more theaters like this in San Francisco.

Alright here’s the thing, I work literally 2 minutes away. I got an hour and a half lunch break. We don’t have an employee lounge in my area and I didn’t feel like sitting at my desk through my entire break so I decided to head over to Muvico to check out these changes that I’ve been hearing about. But I went over mostly to just lounge and kill time.
Yeah, I’m fancy.
First of all, that game room is huge. I wouldve gone nuts if I was a 12 year old. I appreciate the new décor in the hallways as well. I didnt appreciate the smell though. It was pretty bad. It was musty. But it was noon… so I let them slide with that. I’m pretty sure I was the only one there.
The theatre I was in was huge! It’s kind of creepy when you’re all alone in an empty theatre. #ForeverAlone
Anyway, the seats were comfy! What a big difference from the last time I had gone to Muvico. Their seats used to be dreadful. Now I can actually recline and be comfortable.
I don’t think I’m ready to catch a movie here on the weekend just yet. I can’t deal with loud chongas and 16 year old Cuban guys using the N-​word in every other sentence that comes out of their mouth. I’ll stick to CineBistro on the weekends. But on a random Monday — Wednesday night or for a random lunch break getaway — Muvico it is!

Ok guys, I am going to tell you about this little secret, yes is Hialeah, but is now this Muvico has one of the best theaters in SoFla, this place use to stink (literally), but as recent as December 10 they remodeled completely, the place is still same size but they added several cool features:
–Real D 3D; ok not all 3D is the same, some are better than others, this one is one of the best, its digital and looks amazing
–Sony 4K; they added an spectacular digital sound by Sony, is not about how loud could it be is about the details
–D-​Box; they added this cool seats that move in sync with the movie, just like a Disney ride.
So imagine an awesome action movie in 3D with seats that move and amazing digital sound.
The place is packed during weekends so I recommend to enjoy it during the week.
They also added a large Arcade facility that even has bowling lanes.
They added a couple of items to the food area that makes it better, the only thing this location is lacking is alcohol… or at least beer, like some other cool locations.

I was somewhat forced here tonight, and I was kind of not having it. I was a super hialeah-​theater hater. It was old, worn down, it had super uncomfortable seating and don’t get me started on the annoying 13 year olds trudging around…
Well, all that has changed. It’s completely revamped and remodeled! Super nice view. Nice architecture, new carpeting, and they even added a miniature arcade (comparable to a very small Dave and Buster) complete with a two lane bowling alley.
They now feature 3-​D movies AND they have D-​Box seats :
We were graciously escorted to our assigned seats and got upgrades on our meals (free hot dog with a large soda and large popcorn) They even had fresh flowers on the tables. I had a hard time believing I was in Hialeah. Nice…
