One of the best bagel places in the area! Their sun dried tomato cream cheese is the bomb and I love their iced coffee especially since they offer Stevia. The employees are always friendly and pleasant to interact with as well. I just wish they didn’t run out of their whole wheat bagels so quickly!

This is the bagel store I used to come to when I first started working here if I had time to kill before work. I had pleasant enough experiences here and decent bagels. Whenever I’ve come the atmosphere has been pretty quiet which has been great for book reading. In general I’m not overly impressed with any of the bagels I’ve ever eaten in Hewlett but I would pick this place over the other stores.

Welcome Home. There is nothing better then stepping off the red-eye flight from Los Angeles and groggily waiting outside their door till around six to be greeted with a warm, fresh bagel smothered in cream cheese that has just been brought out to the counter. They carry all your expected flavors: poppyseed, seasame seed, cinnamon raisin, egg, pumpernickel, etc and a wide range of cream cheese flavors, along with various salads. Try a sesame seed bagel with scallion cream cheese, its one of my favorite combinations. The bagels are slightly better than the other places around Hewlett. They carry that signature New York subtlety, the bread is just slightly sour almost.(The flavor must come from the water or something because nothing in LA has that taste) The texture is on point; fluffy on the outside with a slightly chewy yet crisp exterior. I love the service. The man behind the counter is friendly in the classic New York way, providing quick blunt counter service with harmless jokes and comments about your questions, comments or the news. My mom loves the place and all the bagel’s at our house are from More Than A Bagel. The prices are average and my Mom enjoys the fact that she has been remembered since the third time in the store.
