There’s street parking and a parking lot in the back! They have wonderful service and the workers there are very nice. Everything you really need in a Deli can be found here and they have tons of greaaat food to choose from! Highly recommended :)

My family has been ordering from this place since before they moved to Hewlett and I am happy to say that their quality has only IMPROVED, which seems to be a rarity when businesses relocate. Their deliveries are always speedy and correct and you truly can’t beat their friendly service. I’ve never had a bad meal from this place, and their grilled cheese is absolute perfection (which seems strange to say because it’s such a simple dish, but seriously– that stuff is GOOD). I also love their wraps and salads which always have fresh, tasty ingredients. I highly recommend Ms. Violet’s!

My co-​workers decided to order lunch from here. Instead of getting my new usual Saturday afternoon lunch from the frozen yogurt shop I decided to order the portabello mushroom burger. (It’s a vegetarian burger using a portabello mushroom for a burger instead of chopped meat).
The mushroom, spinach and mozarella cheese didn’t seem seasoned to me but it was still tasty because mushrooms can be a natural flavor enhancer. I wasn’t a fan of the sesame bun used it reminded me of a store bought sesame bun.
The sandwich was still tasty despite the bun and no seasoning, I would order from here again or pop in before work on a Thursday night to grab dinner before going into work.

Finally, diner food returns to Hewlett! Friendly staff, huge menu, breakfast all day, ½ lb burgers any way you like, salads, sandwiches, gyros, wraps, pitas, paninis and more. Open every day. Open til 9 weekdays and til 5 sat & sun. They deliver.
