Deck Care of Nova

Do not count on them showing up, they were supposed to come on May 24^th to my house to do a power wash and stain, even an e-​mail that morning that said they were coming that day to wash and stain on the 26^th, they did not come and I e-​mailed them that night with no response till the 26^th when Arnold replied they had a scheduling conflict and will come on the 29^th, again they did not show up. He said he e-​mailed me and left messages many times but I seem to somehow only get 1 or 2 of the many e-​mails that he said were sent, and he said he left messages on my cell phone number but could not give me the number he called, nor did I have any messages. When I finally did talk to him on the phone, he said he had to have other jobs out my way and «wasn’t going to travel 25 miles just for your job». I needed this done quickly due to my HOA not being happy with the current look of my deck and he was well aware of it and proceeded to tell me that I shouldn’t have waited to the last minute to get this done, when if he had done it when the job was agreed upon, 26^th or 29^th my HOA would have been fine. Communication was horrible, job never done, and I was told that 10 days ago he called me and said they would not be doing the job, due to my e-​mail that the HOA was going to start charging me $ 10 a day since it was not done and I would expect this back for every day it wasn’t done. I guess only hire if you are in the Herndon Area and not in Haymarket, at your own risk. I have never posted on anything till today, but don’t want anyone else going through what I have for the past month. I would be more than happy to discuss this with anyone that is interested and encourage anyone look for someone else to do any job.
