History

Established in 2012.

George West End (formerly known as GEDEH Cuts and Styles) is a Christian based business operating under the following premise, «we are more than just a neighborhood barber shop!» George West End is a place for dreams to be discussed and to be supported. It is also a place where a man can come to relax and be himself amongst other men with like passions: to work hard, provide for the family, and get a quality haircut for less. Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

A native of Charlottesville, Virginia, George Monroe matriculated to Richmond in 1995 to study at Virginia Union University receiving a BA in Sociology in 1998. Afterwards he attended the University of Richmond Graduate School of Arts & Sciences receiving a Master of Liberal Arts degree 2000. In 2003, George completed a second Masters degree in Science with a focus on Human Services. These lessons learned have been complimented by extensive travel all over the world for various missions and humanitarian efforts.

After 18 years in Corporate America as a Lean Six Sigma professional, George sought to establish a business that catered to his specific interests: a desire to help other entrepreneurs, development of a quality brand /​product from the ground up, and a forum by which to interact with new and exciting people! George West End (GWE) is that place. Centrally located in the West End, GWE services clients of all hair types and we hope to service you soon!
