I see what another reviewer meant about being deceived by the outward appearance of this place. We might not have thought to come here, but we had come from Burntshirt Vineyard and Winery, and it was recommended by the staff there. It’s half gift shop, half diner. I can’t speak for the gift shop, as we were mostly in the diner. The diner is off the side when you enter, and you order at the counter and then seat yourself and the food is brought to you. Staff is very friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. Really nice to find a vegetarian option where no corners were cut. The black bean burger is very generous, served with avocado, lettuce, tomato, and a spicy mayo. Definitely would recommend to anyone going to or from the vineyards.

This place isn’t what it seems. My son and I had their vegetarian options. Mine was their quiche and his was their black bean burger, both with potato salad. Unexpectedly excellent! It doesn’t have the look or feel the food will be good but it was. The tomato soup was not homemade and the woman didn’t know what was in it so we bypassed that. I can get canned soup at home. Otherwise it was a very good meal…

Excellent lunch stop. Tuna sandwich and Tomato Basil Soup were yummy. Excellent value and down home food. The shopping was great with good prices on most items.
