Arrived for my 7:15 AM appointment for my 2015 Dodge Dart SXT due to multiple issues & I’ve only had it for about 6 months. It’s been over 7 hours & my car is still chilling outside in the parking lot waiting to be worked on. As soon as I arrived, the service advisor Cesar kept trying to convince me to leave my vehicle here & just get a rental. I made the earliest appointment possible, hoping that it would be fixed & ready to go by the end of today. I know it may take longer to have the issue fixed, which is understandable. Except, it’s been here for over 7 hours without even being looked at!

Very poor service department. Had a clicking issue behind the drivers side dash in my 2013 Dodge Caravan. It was still under warranty so I called my nearest Dodge dealer. Explained that it was our only vehicle and would need to wait for it. Was given an appointment for 9:40am on Friday ¹⁄₂₂ and was told they would work on it then. When I arrived at 9:30 am, no other customers were lined up, pulled right in then was rudely told by Abraham that I would need to leave it overnight and could not wait for it. I should have left right then. I wanted it fixed so I used their shuttle service and left it. Called back on Saturday at 1pm and was told they did not know what was wrong with it and they needed to keep it until Monday. They had not even looked at my vehicle, so why did they have me bring it in on Friday morning???
I blew up at Jose, the person assigned to my case, said I needed to pick it up at 4pm since we had plans to go out that night and it would not be coming back. Also explained I had told the girl who made our appointment we needed our only vehicle back quickly and that their service sucked! They had not delivered as promised. About 30 minutes later Jose called back saying it would be fixed today or they would give me a loaner. 4pm Jose called and said it would be fixed and ready about 4:30 pm, we were just being dropped off at the dealer then. We waited from 4 pm to 5:15pm in their waiting room. Our van was visible in the repair bay and slowly made progress.
We did get the van fixed the next day from when it was dropped off but only because I blew up at Jose. If left to their own service would not have looked at my van until Monday and possibly not even then. I was lied to and do not believe these guys at all. I will not be returning to purchase a new vehicle there or service again. This type of poor service is not acceptable.

Bought a Dodge Charger and I’m in love with it! Joe was amazing and so was tony! They both helped me find the perfect car! Make sure to ask for them!

I can’t offer a good review for this place. Blue (Blue Genie) is too much of a salesman if you know what I mean. Instead of focusing on what my needs and wants were, he was more concerned about just getting the sale. He was very pushy and aggressive.
You can certainly try to ask for another salesman, but in the end, he’ll be the one to hold the gun to your head. I’m sorry, I meant, put the pen in your hand.
I will tell you what dealership I was happy with though… Findlay Cadillac: no pressure sales and it was all about what I wanted.

Purchased a 2016 Ram 1500 Sport from Towbin Dodge on 12÷5÷15. On this vehicle is a Red Alert Safety System. This System has been giving us a notification every few miles since we have purchased it that we have a brake light out. We have been to 2 dealerships including Towbin to have this fixed. First time was at the Dodge Dealership in Palm Springs, we were told to bring it in the following morning for a appt. to fix it. When we picked up the vehicle that evening they had not worked on it at all said they needed a special tool and that no one had gone to get it so sorry we didn’t get to it. We took it to Towbin on there first available appt. 12÷21÷15 the invoice reads that the Red Alert was loose and that it was fixed. Was not fixed. Took back on the next available appt. on 1÷5÷15 invoice says Red box was replaced, we picked up the truck and it is still not fixed. THIS IS A BRAND NEW TRUCK. This Red Alert is a $ 595 charge on our purchase that we had no choice of whether we wanted or not. In one of our many, many trips to this Towbin Dodge dealership we were told by the floor Supervisor Melissa Maldonado that for some reason the Red Alert does not work on the Trucks. Yet you are selling these trucks with Red Alert on them. Our UConnect Navigation still does not work correctly and neither does the app that is meant to lock and unlock the doors. We also still do not have access to the app that is supposed to give us the diagnostics on our Truck. We had a conversation with The General Manager on the day we purchased and he stated he would give us a $ 100 for a referral we gave. filled out the paperwork and still have not received. When our truck went through the finance process we were told by our salesman and Melissa that they would try and get us lower than a 3.9% interest rate once the loan would go out to finance companies, this also was not done and surprise we now have a 3.9% loan. Tobin dodge uses a service that registers your vehicle with DMV so that you do not have to go and do it. We told the sales person and Melissa that we wanted to use this service. When we still had not heard anything weeks later about our registration we returned to the dealership again and were told that we were supposed to have filed the paperwork out for this service the day we bought the truck, but we were not given the paperwork. Towbin was able to get this done for us but we were not called and told that our plates arrived at the dealership, so the day before the temporary plate expired I contacted the dealership and asked if our plates were available and was told yes they were there. So again we had to go back to the dealership to pick up the plates. This has been the absolute worst vehicle buying experience ever. How could this possibly be a way to run a business, especially when out of everyones mouth is what can I do to get you to give us all 10s? Just so you know for that to happen I would had to have none of this nonsense to happen. Still can’t believe it

Got a call and reply to my comment on here from their «Director of Customer Service». He was all nice for the first two interactions but he hasn’t returned my text or calls for about a week now. He asked me to take this down and I did but they obviously don’t really care and its all a façade.
Also, just checked my credit status and it shows that they did a «hard inquiry». I had originally asked if it would be a «soft inquiry» and they said yes.
So here is my review back up again.

Worst Customer Service and car buying experience of my life.
Ok where to start… I came in to see 2001 Nissan Frontier 2WD with 55k miles that was posted on
.
1. Took me to see other cars other than the car that I wanted. After I told them no on a few cars they finally took me to see the Frontier.
2. The Frontier, listed online with a price, HADN’T BEEN CHECKED OR CLEANED AT ALL and they are listing it online already just to get you in the door.
3. Started talking numbers on the car and I made a reasonable offer and willing to negotiate more but JIMMY JOHNSON kept BS’ing me.
4. Here are a list of things he said: (in reading this make note he told me «I am not a mechanic I am a salesman»)
Brakes cost $ 1,000.00 to get done — then recanted and said $ 500 after I told him how much it actually costs (this is still way to high for at dealer costs. Sounds generous on the high end for a customer going to a dealer)
Tires replaced cost $ 1,000.00… Seriously? A 2001 Frontier stock tires, which if a dealer sells a used car and is certified used they have to put the stock tires and rims on. From my understanding. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Either way no way are they going to put on tires that expensive nor does it cost that much for at dealer costs.
He told me that they took the ad offline and was going to sell this car for 12K!!! Granted low miles but a 2001 truck that is not even 4×4?! please. I feel bad for any dupe that will buy this truck from them at this price.
He then ran my credit, I was already financed BTW I humored him, and they tacked on a «GPS» tracking system fee. This is where is was caught in another LIE. He told us it was for our benefit and that they had to put them on all their cars and that all dealerships had to do this. That is utter BS. Banks require the GPS tracking system for the risk buyers. Which, I can happily say, my credit is not that bad.
This dealership has a reputation of poor service and unethical business practices. Never again will I got to this dealership or recommend it. His supervisor seemed alright but I didn’t get to interact much with him. If you know anything about cars and you want to experience the epitome of a «used car salesman» experience go see Jimmy Johnson at Towbin Dodge and have a few laughs. If you don’t have much experience STAY AWAY.
This is all my own experience. I had two other people there with me to verify this. But you can make your own decision.

Had a great experience at Towbin Dodge. Had to negotiate a little and it took a little longer than I thought, but overall great experience. Bought a 2015 Durango R/​T at the price I wanted. Ask for Tony Waller. Good guy. Not pushy at all.

Trying to buy a new truck from these guys is beating your head against the wall, want to see numbers and can’t get the desk MGR to come out while getting my truck service done, get my truck back and the low tire pressure is flashing on all four tires, the person who brought my truck to says were we supposed to fix that? I just had a service done you moron

What a HORRIBLE experience at this dealership. I worked tirelessly with them to option and order a new Dodge Viper ACR. I even have a signed sales intent sheet from management. They delayed the submission and build of my ACR and demanded more money to continue with the build.
Not only that but they also kept my current Viper, a 2014 Dodge SRT Viper, in service department for OVER 2 MONTHS. Why? They failed several times to correct issues with my Viper’s electronics systems and they HIT MY CAR while it was in service. They damaged my car when an employee backed into it with another car while it was in their service department.
Dodge REFUSED to fix the damage to my satisfaction. They REFUSED to compensate me for the time my car was sitting, damaged, in their service department and they lied about the time needed for repair, the parts needed to fix the damage and they refused to honor the items for compensation they initially agreed to.
I send numerous owners of Vipers to this dealership on a yearly basis for service. NOT ANY MORE. I advise everyone to go elsewhere (like the Dodge dealership on Sahara).
STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! They will lie, they will delay and they will probably damage your car with their neglectful and incompetent staff.
And to the guys at Towbin: Oscar, Tom, Joe, Steve, next time maybe don’t lie and attempt to take advantage of someone who is an expert in social media and SEO. I’m going to make sure everyone hears my story about your dealership.

Worst customer service ever would not help me get a car I have a low credit score due to another car dealership and they still refused to help me

This is not a spontaneous review. After four months of buyers remorse I thought I’d write a review of our experience at Tobin Dodge. Once your approved they will ask for a ‘appraisal’ of your current vehicle prepare to not see your vehicle again. Very High pressure, they simply will not take NO for an answer. Dodging questions and having little knowledge of their own product. Having a disability and being on a fixed income prepare to be exploited, because that’s exactly what happened. In the end, we left with a vehicle we did not expect to drive home with. I signed the contract Yes we did. In a couple years I’ll trade this Vehicle in but it won’t be at Tobin Dodge or Tobin anything. Guaranteed.

This will be my second review on Unilocal about towbin dodge. To be honest when I buy a car off the lot I honestly don’t expect to have issues with the vehicle. I have had a negative experience when it comes to dealing with the dealership upfront. The only positive experience I’ve had with towbin dodge was with a specialist named jerry. He was very kinda and understanding to my situation with my new vehicle. I’d really like to speak with someone about fixing my vehicle because I feel like I have to hop through hoops to get things done talking with the dealership upfront… the first time my service transmission came on was a month and a half after I drove it off the lot… this is the second time. 4 months later. I need this issue resolved immediately and I would like help from Jerry (I don’t remember his last name) or someone else just as compassionate. Please email right away. I know your busy but this is an urgent matter and I didn’t expect this to happen again…

Although my first visit wasn’t the best, the director of customer service personally contacted me to make sure my problem was resolved. They set up an appointment with me giving me the most helpful salesperson & I ended up driving out with my brand new 2015 charger! They made sure I got the deal that I wanted & listened to every question & concern that I had. I am very glad that I took a second chance with towbin I really did come home happy!

Our experience at Towbin Dodge was amazing and its all thanks to Steve Richardson he was great! I went there to buy a car for my girlfriend. We had a tight budget but still wanted a nice, safe car. Steve was very helpful and personable he immediately helped us out. We got a great deal no other place can match it. I thank you and the rest of the staff that helped during the process! This is the 16^th car we have got from Towbin Dodge over the years. They always provide amazing service and deals. I know in the future we will be buying from here again.

Do not buy from here!!! I bought a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500 back in July of 2013. The salesman was not at all knowledgeable to anything on lot what so ever. I got all of my information and detail from my step dad, who is a dodge salesman back in Michigan. The paperwork took almost 3 hours to complete. And during that time they were supposed to get the truck into the garage to check it out as it had just been pulled off the truck. When the paperwork was done, the truck wasn’t ready. Was told to come back the next day and it would be ready when I got there. Came in the next day at noon to get it, and had to wait over 3 hours for the truck because it wasn’t done. After I left with the truck, 2 hours later, the finance department calls and says I filled out the paperwork wrong and have to come back to redo everything. After I spent 3 hours sitting at the dealership that day.
Never had too much issue with the service department however. Minus the wait times.
Fast forward to May of 2015, I traded in the truck for a new car. I went in 3 times to get my refunds on the warranty and gap insurance that they ripped me off on. They give me the run around. And finally after 2 months, someone tells about paperwork I had to fill out that no one told me about previously. So I fill out the paperwork submit it. I was told I’d have the warranty refund back in a week which took 4 weeks. And they would rush my gap insurance refund which I still have not gotten and it has been over 5 weeks. Which is at least $ 2000 refund they are probably trying to keep. Now no one will return my calls.

100% guaranteed buyer remorse in the 1^st 3 months. They have 100 plus NOT recommended reviews on Unilocal.Their service department is like a circus; full of clowns. They use a synthetic blend oil on new Dodge Cars. To avoid all this, try this. Never hit the gong or sign any paperwork before you know your APR% and numbers of months for payments. Should this change in the back financing office, just walk out.
They’re quite sweet until you sign the paperwork. Better yet, avoid any Towbin dealership. I guarantee you their 4^th of July weekend $ales are more about exaggerated discounts. Once you do the math, it’s a major loss in the end.

This place is an absolute joke. They herd you in to see what kind of financing you can get approved for before you even look at any vehicles, their sales people have little knowledge of their inventory, and they are pushy and rude. We came to look at a Grand Caravan they had in stock online, and the people on the floor had no idea it was even there. Of course, before they even let us look at the van they worked on finances. Once we decided to buy we explained that we would be in a hurry, and if we went and got something to eat they would have it ready. They didn’t, and it took another 2 hours to complete. My favorite part was that the tank was on E, and they weren’t going to put any gas in it, but the sales guy «talked to the manager» and they put a little bit in. I’ve never been to a dealership that doesn’t give you a full tank of gas upon purchase.
The next day (Sunday) I noticed a dime sized crack in the windshield, that I did not notice the night before because it was dark. We contacted them Monday about it, and we were told to come in. First the sales guy basically tried to say it was us that caused, saying that the detail department didn’t see it when they removed the sticker (that didn’t exist, all the stickers and info were on the side window), then the manager was like «oh you didn’t notice it?» So they agreed to fix it, but I had to come back another day. First time I came to get it fixed they decided the entire windshield needed to be replaced and I had to come back. Second time they said I missed my appointment, and that the technician was no longer there, even though I was told I could come any time that day. It was finally fixed the fourth time, but it was an atrocious wait time for a relatively easy fix.
Stay away. Buying here was a very expensive stressful, and time consuming mistake.

REPEAT CUSTOMER
I bought two cars from Towbin Dodge almost two years ago and it was a very good experience. So good that I recently returned and traded my Challenger for a Durango. Tim Harris and Mirela Dudi were both great and got me in a Durango with a payment I was comfortable with and Luis Escobar explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. I love Towbin Dodge and will be back and will refer all my friends and family.

What started out as a good day…
1. Went into the finance guy he got a little testy because we refused gap coverage, had to say no more than once.
2. Now this is where the fun begins — ask if car comes with a full tank of gas (carmax does) finance guy: we make sure it has ¼ tank, ask your salesperson they can hook you up, paper works all done so I asked… oh hey finance guy said if we ask you can hook us up (can’t hurt to ask) salesperson: oh let me ask I’m not sure, 10 minutes later manager walks over…
1^st mistake he makes — there’s no room for that, me: room for what? SM: it’s not in the budget we lost $ 1,100 on this sale (so if I didn’t haggle on price is that my fault or poor business practices?) then I asked the finance guy (2^nd mistake) he said he never told you that… Excuse me? Yes he did, let me go ask him (3^rd mistake) brings finance out and to our face he lies again, I called him out and either you are lying or you are calling us liars. His response I’m going back to my office!
Plus side: SM offered to put $ 20 in our tank, (we didn’t accept) when you don’t haggle on prices, they really can’t fill your tank to say «hey we appreciate your business»…
UPDATE: I received a call from towbin apologizing for everything…
Last update! I dont care what they say if they call again… 1^st carwash shit started coming off, why because it wasn’t on correctly. What is there answer? Couldn’t be our guys they would not do that, really? Sorry cars falling apart but how was the rest of your experience?
Customer satisfaction isn’t their priority, they will say whatever to get you into a car… Once paperwork has your signature you mean crap to them!!!
My suggestion… CARMAX they at least give you a full tank of gas
