Stephanie Animal Hospital

Wanted to ease my kitty cat Figaros trip to get shots so picked this hospital due to it being across the street. Staff was very kind and friendly. There was a $ 25 office fee but didnt mind because staff was great and doc was outstanding! Figaro did great and has all his shots now he can go back outside after being in for a few days. Will be coming back for what he needs in the future. Facility was clean which was also nice. Thank you to staff for an easy going experience for myself and Fiq.

I have used this facility for several years. They have never let me or my «kids» down. They have taken such good care of them. I found the staff and doctors to be extremely kind and caring along with knowledgeable treatment. The facility is clean and welcoming. I will not take my babies anywhere else. Thank you all so much.

I have had several furry babies over the years. Somehow 15+ years ago I was fortunate enough to find an awesome veterinarian named Dr. Jonas. He had an amazing vet tech, Alina who was always very knowledgable and empathetic towards us as well as their patients. A few years ago Dr. Jonas moved to a different clinic and I, along with my furry babies, followed him there. We were extremely pleased that his former vet tech now worked with him at Stephanie Animal Hospital as well. That was a huge relief! Dr. Jonas and Alina have always given us top notch service with a compassionate heart. My MamaCat, who was 14 years old, passed away 2 years ago. It was a highly difficult situation for me to cope with, but Alina somehow made MamaCat’s passed and cremation process less stressful for our family. We received sympathy cards, one from Stephanie Animal Hospital and another from Alina, personally, along with flowers delivered to our home. This past July I decided it was time to adopt a new kitten and Alina was very eager to help our family adopt a new baby. Needless to say, I still take our new baby Sakura to Dr. Jonas and Alina at Stephanie Animal Hospital. We are and have always been beyond happy with them. Thank you both!

I have mixed feelings about this place. I think prices are reasonable but they need to work on their costumer service attention. The staff including the doctors are sometimes rude and they don’t spend the time they should checking our pets and really understanding what’s the reason for why you are bringing them to the vet. It takes forever to see the doctor as well as making an appointment! I guess overall an okay place if all you need is a quick checkup or annual shots!

I moved to Henderson, NV 3 yrs ago & needed to find a place I loved to board my dogs due to my travel schedule. I immediately found this place & loved it especially Dr Kysha Britford-​Moore. She was the only vet I wanted to treat my animals. She was knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, all the things you would want in a vet. I recently lost my Sheltie & she was so amazing to me. The staff here is awesome too. I highly recommend Dr Britford-​Moore & Stephanie Animal Hospital!!!

Love love love this place! They take great care of my Great Dane. He needs lots of love and attention and they give it to him on top of the great medical care. The Drs and support staff are the best.

Staff is friendly
$ 15 for a nail trim — yes, it’s pricier than many other places but they do a really good job. They don’t just clipped Dolce’s nails, but they also file it so there are no sharp edges. With Dolce, she is a 64lb dog that loves to jump on people, so this makes it less painful.
Cons:
Dr. has to reference his really ancient hard cover book to look up Dolce’s breed, when asked about whether she could sunbathe once in a while.
Resident cat tried to claw Dolce when all Dolce did was greet her.

My cat is breathing through the mouth and under respiratory stress. Called to get a price quote for an exam, and rapid treatment since my regular vet is a bit further away, and was informed casually that «they didn’t have any openings today…»
I guess you need to make an appointment for emergency situations.

Moved to henderson needed a local vet for small things locally. Should have stayed at centennial (where I will be going back to) I took my dog in for 2 vaccines and anal gland expression. I walked out spending $ 75 that’s crazy expensive. They charged me for an office visit/​well check. I didn’t schedule that. Place is a rip off not to mention the vet I saw was a bit short with me. I asked for meds for my dogs allergies and she wouldn’t give them to me. I have gotten them before. Just wasn’t a fan.

I love this place. We have several cats and have to go to the vet from time to time. They’re always friendly here. Dr. Britford is such a nice lady! I definitely recommend giving them a shot if you need a vet visit.

Update as of 8/​13-​took my dogs for boarding for the day. Lady @ front (curly mullet/​obese) was very rude and unprofessional. And slow! Also– The girl that came out to take my dogs for boarding was so quiet & looked afraid of people & dogs, Not warm & reassuring the way someone That handles animals should appear. She Just came out & Stood in front of me, not uttering a word. After a few seconds she reached her hand out for my
leashes, so socially awkward. I felt like I was in a Woody Allen /​Tim Burton movie. These people are creepy and not cool. I’m done w this place.
Clean and nice facility, good for minor services for your furry babies (nail trim, grooming etc). Overpriced for major services and I wasn’t so impressed with the vet.

Can’t recommend Stephanie Animal Hospital enough. We have an older husky who is about 13. They are great with him. We use their vet services as well as boarding and grooming. The boarding is a great value, I believe it’s about $ 20 a day, and he is well taken care of. Another plus, the last time we had him boarded, we had a check up done and had him groomed as well. This cut down on future visits, which is great because we have the rare dog that doesn’t like car rides. You will get excellent service and can rest assured your pets are in great hands.

I took my dog in because he cracked his dew claw. It was going to cost 150 dollars to trim it!!! I ended up paying the office visit still, leaving without it being fixed. I’ll not be going there again for sure.

I utilize SAH for their friendly vets, grooming services, and pet hotel. Their vets are knowledgeable and professional. They helped me control my dog’s allergy problems by recommending the right food brand instead of throwing medications at him. The groomer is extremely nice and in general she does a good job cutting his fur (~$ 40). Lastly, the pet boarding is inexpensive (~$ 16/​day) and my dog has not looked traumatized or starved after a few days stay. You can choose whether to feed your dog 2x or 3x a day. Also, they take the dogs out back (about 2x/​day) for restroom needs. Also the front desk staff is really friendly and does a great job getting me in & out of there efficiently. I’m glad to live by such a great animal hospital!

Stephanie Animal Hospital literally saved my little boston terrier’s life. He has a penchant for eating bugs, and like a little ninja, ate a bee out of the air while it was flying past his adorable smashy face. The bee stung him and it was immediately clear that this was going to be very bad very fast. I found this place via my GPS [amen for that!] and we called to check they were open, as it was a sunday afternoon on a holiday weekend. It was 4:38, they closed at 5 and we raced over. My little guy was immediately taken in the back, stabilized and the doctors and techs were incredibly informative in updating us. They all ended up staying late after closing to ensure he was ok before we could transfer him to an overnight ER. I know they were extending themselves above and beyond and likely wanted to be at home with their families, but they took the time to see him through to a safe point. I truly appreciate their endeavor, and so does my little guy.

This place is great. They do a great job on grooming and they always get my pup in for broading whenever I need it. The people there are true pet lovers and always give outstanding service. Plus it’s affordable!
