Discount Tire Store – Henderson, NV

My mother and I visited your Boulder highway location here in Henderson, NV (store NVL 01) off Boulder highway and Lake Mead. We had the BEST experience we have ever had in any tire store! Not only was the store fairly busy for a Friday evening but everyone was on their game with working efficiently and professionaly. Tony Cruz helped us and was so kind, took time to explain what we needed and took care of us promptly and professionally. Once they took our vehicle back, before we knew it. a gentleman named Jared called for us, because our vehicle was ready, explained to us what they did with confidence and was even so courteous to open the door for my mother to let her in the vehicle safely. On a 1 – 10 scale of service? Definitely a 10++++! I will speak highly to everyone I know about this wonderful location and crew! Thank YOU so much for the experience and looking foward to always doing further business with this Discount Tire location.

I had an issue with my tire lug nut being over tightened. The dealership would not break it because they were concerned it might cause damage which would be a pricey fix — they suggested going back to Jiffy Lube which is where I got my tires rotated last. Went to Jiffy Lube and they said that they could not get it loosened. They suggested bringing the car over to Discount Tire which is what I did. After all that rigmarole the Discount Tire guys at the shop took care of loosening the lug nut for me and even offered to do my rotation for me. I just have to give this location kudos for helping to solve this issue for me! Thanks guys!!! There is a reason we always buy our tires here — not just the best prices for tires but also the service to go along with them.

Took my car there to have the tires rotated. They went out with me and looked at each tire, gave me the tread depth and ideas on when I should look at replacing the tires, which is about a year away. They told me it would be about 30 – 45 minutes. They were done in about twenty. I went to the cashier to pay and was told there was no charge. «Just give us an opportunity to win your business in the future.» Did I mention I hadn’t bought my tires there? (The vendor where we had bought the tires charges $ 25.00 for a rotation.) Today they won a lifetime customer for all of our cars.

When it comes to vehicle maintenance I usually steer clear of the national chains. But this location (and company) has never failed to do right by me.
I think I’ve purchased my last six tires from Discount Tire and will continue to purchase from these folks. I remember several years ago I ran over a screw days after purchasing new tires and these guys replaced the damaged tire for the cost of the insurance, no problem.
Most recently I bought a new (used) vehicle and sold my truck. I think the tires on the old truck were no more than a year old, purchased from Discount. When I experienced some steering wheel shake in my new ride and did some research, I figured the guys at Discount Tire would be able to resolve the issue. I dropped it off and requested a balance, rotation and rim inspection. Picked it up a few hours later and the handling issues are totally corrected. Even better, as a regular customer these guys charged me as if they were servicing the tires they installed in my truck rather than a whole new vehicle.

They are very knowledgable in Tire and Car specific tire needs! I can’t say much for performance tires, but they know Subaru Legacy GT’s! I’m happy!!!

No charge for 2 tire repairs! I was so pleased with the customer service and timing: D

Ran over a screw and had a slow leak. My first ever visit and they fixed it in ~30 minutes, no charge. You can’t beat that deal. When I need tires I’ll check them out.

Had something in my tire but it wasn’t flat. Stopped at Big O further up the street who wanted about $ 20 and had a long wait. I did a little shopping only to find out they hadn’t even started the fix so I decided to come back another day.
Next visit, about ½ hour after they opened on a weekday, I figured I’d have better luck. I waited in the lobby for 10 minutes and no one ever came in to help me. I figured this was a hint to find another shop.
I tried Walmart down the street but they said they only did plug repairs and thought I’d need a patch. They suggested Discount Tires.
I am so happy I took their advice. I stopped in yesterday afternoon and after hearing there would be a wait, I made an 8am appointment to get it done. They were prompt, friendly, and did it for free. For free. I had no idea they didn’t charge for this.
I do need to get a different tire replaced. As a result of their great service and policy to fix flats for free, I’ll be getting my tires here from now on.

I was debating to give Discount Tire a full 4 or 5 star rating but decided on the 5 because of the extra services they provide when you buy tires from them such as lifetime road balancing, rotations and if you get the tire warranty, they will replace the tire under warranty and not pro-​rate it unless the tire is absolutely just done. On the last two of my three cars, I have taken advantage of this warranty which more the paid for itself after the first use.
Plus with internet price match, when I know I need new tires, I just search online for the tires I want, find them for cheaper and then have Discount match the price for even more money saved. Yay, Discount Tire!

These guys will match internet prices. I found a set of tires i liked at some web site called them up and guess what they matched the price with shipping. Fast Fast fast! if your next in line and have been a friendly customer. These guys will get your wheels on at nascar pace. If you roll on dubs then you want the life time balancing as you can find a discount tire almost anywhere. A huge plus when you drive out of state and need a quick balance between hauls.
