A great place to live. Management is fantastic, keeping the community quiet and clean, maintenance is generally quick and satisfactory, and I have a gorgeous view from my balcony. I moved out of state a few years ago, out from another apartment here, and this was the only community I wanted to look at when it came time to move back.

Vince has repaired our last two maintenance requests. He has done a very good job. He didnt get 5 stars, only because it took a few days to get to us.

I’ve spent almost 2 years here and just wanted to give a solid review before I move to another state. I think this is one of the best apartment complexes in the Vegas area. The property is attractive and immaculate. Apartments are modern. It’s all set on a golf course with views of the strip. Within 3 minutes you can be to Whole Foods, Starbucks, banks or the Freeway. You can get to strip in a good day in about 10 mins. The one and only downside is you can hear your neighbors pipes and stuff, but isn’t that every apartment. Yes, your rent might go up after your lease, but again, that’s typical.

Great place to live. Beautiful view of the strip from my balcony, as well as a gorgeous kept golf course view. Price is reasonable and service was always efficient. Friendly staff, amenities included are awesome!

The staff is sooooo friendly. The grounds are kept very clean and everything is well-​kept. I live on the top floor and I have no complaints what so ever. Quiet community and when you put in a mantainance request, it gets taken care of immediately. I would definitely recommend this place if you can afford it. If anything, they are maybe a hundred dollars more than the other apartments on green valley BUT are 10x nicer. Go for it if you’re looking for a nice apartment in the green valley area.

I would like to start off by saying that this place is «a gold-​plated turd». It looks nice from the outside, but once inside, you realize how little they actually updated. They put in a lot of effort to make it appear nice (re-​roofing, re-​painting buildings and vehicle awnings-​all of which took place during our lease, after it had already been updated). When maintenance is needed, the workers respond fairly quickly, but are needed far too often for an «upgraded complex». 11 times in the 15 months we were there. They changed the cabinets and upgraded the flooring, but the pipes are incredibly old and LOUD. Vegas is a 24 hour town, and you learn to accept that, but it is never nice being woken up at 3 in the morning with «screaming pipes» because your neighbor came home and took a shower. The water heaters are at least as old as the complex, so around 30, adding unexpected costs to an «upgraded complex». The electricity and wiring are a nightmare. You can’t have the stove, microwave, and TV running at the same time, because it will trip your breaker for sure. The lights flicker and while they do come to fix it, a couple of months later, it comes right back.
The landscaping was nice and well taken care of (and was also changed while we were there), however, the pools were almost always filthy. They should definitely look into cleaning it more often. Also, half the equipment in the work out area isn’t fully functional.
Now, let’s talk about them being «pet-​friendly». What a load. They do not have any extra amenities for pets (like extra space to play or a dog park), and if your pet makes the slightest sound, you get notices. You are allowed to have pets, and they do not have breed or weight restrictions like most complexes. This is actually why we chose them. Unfortunately, you have to pay, pay, PAY to have them. I was fooled by the term «non-​refundable pet-​fee». I thought this was the non-​refundable portion of the pet deposit that would be used to cover the extra costs in cleaning having pets causes (which if you have a pet, you come to expect). The non-​refundable portion is always supposed to be used first before they are allowed to touch the refundable portion. However, this is just $ 200/​pet they get to keep. They do not have to use the funds in any way towards your «move-​out costs». That plus the «refundable» $ 100/​pet portion (which you will definitely not get back if you have a pet), plus the $ 10 month per pet in additional rent, it really adds up quickly. Just be sure you understand that if you choose to move in.
I would also like to mention that I do not agree with their business plan of constantly changing pricing. We were only planning to stay for the allotted lease, so it didn’t affect us too much, but just be prepared, if you extend your lease, to pay an additional $ 200-​$ 500 in rent. Also be extra aware of the exceptionally long notice period of 60-​days. You better be a planner to not be charged extra.
Overall, it was a nightmare, and we are so happy we moved out.

Granted, I lived there about 6 years ago, but I wasn’t aware of Unilocal at that time, so my review is a little late, but I really enjoyed living there, the apartment was spacious, and for what I was paying, it was much nicer than some of my friends apartments that were in the same price range if not more. The staff was extremely nice and when the financing fell through when we were purchasing our house, they gave us an «emergency extension» on your lease so we wouldn’t be homeless for a month while trying to get financed through someone else for the house. I have and would continue to recommend Camden Fairways to anyone looking for a nice apartment to live in.

When I signed my lease they told me they recommend having the apt. sprayed for pests EVERY MONTH. The manger admits they have a roach problem and the pest control man told me as soon as it warms up the «water bugs» meaning big roaches will show up. There is a pigeon infestation that is so bad when the wind comes up, there are feathers flying all over outside — it looks like you are inside a room full of birds. They poop on my stairs, entry way, live on my roof, near my air conditioning unit, feathers come in from the dryer vent. The pigeons sit in the dumpsters so when you put a bag of garbage in the dumpster, they fly up and get agressive and dustr and mites go all over the place. I get bit from bird mites when I go to get my mail. Have to wear long pants, socks and shoes to not get bit. My kitchen sink drains out in front of my apartment out into the parking area so there is always a stream of water there. I can see soap suds under the front of my building. Kitchen is a mess. Dishwasher opens across the two sinks, try putting dishes in when you have to move away from the sink, the refig is old and lopsided so the door won’t stay open. Cupbards are so small I have to turn my dishes sideways to get them in. No linen closet, stacked washer & dryer with NO place to put laundry stuff. I contacted the manger because I have a bug infestation, which I showed the bugs to the police and they told me to contact the management and have pest control come out and find out what they are. Manager will not respond, I made second request in person in the office, still no response, now the management doesn’t speak to me. My guess is several people got bird mites from the pigeon infestation so they are ignoring finding out if the bugs are bird mites. I lost my clothing and belongings due to it, am moving in 11 more days. Yes the view of the golf course is pretty, but the old men in the golf carts go right up to your bedroom and livingroom windows. You have NO privacy at all. I can hear my neighbors do laundry, shower. I fell sorry for the lady below me because I have to do so much laundry due to the bug infestation.

Landscaping is being dug up and replaced with ugly gravel and desert pland. It was 5 stars before.

Camden fairways are beautiful apartments inside and out. The inside is updated and spacious and the outside is always cleaned. The prices are very worth what you get. The office staff are wonderful, always very friendly and helpful. As well as the maintainence staff. And best of all, when you put in a work order it is done quickly, ive never waited for more than a day.
The reason for the loss of one star is because–
#1– being on the first floor sucks, you can hear everything upstairs and walking around sounds like a stampede! We had loud neighbors a few months ago and now some kids are above. No need to alarm clock now. Get 2^nd floor. Or ask about who lives upstairs.
#2– the people who clean the grounds are very rude. I’ve had to wash my car about 4 times now because they have no problem brushing all the crap onto my car. Once I left my window down and that crap got in my car. Also I’ve had them blow stuff up to my doorstep, and leave it! All this grass, twigs, trash and butts. Are you serious? Ballsy!
Other than that. Great place!
