The hubby and I love this place! Always such warm and friendly cashiers and love in atmosphere. I recommend the Malibu chicken, it’s delicious and filling and only 15 bucks for the both of us! Can’t beat that. Everything’s always made fresh and ready to order. I’ll be back with all my friends!

Decided to try out Sizzler one lunch hour. No warm welcome from the girl at the cash register. Asked her about the menu since this is the first time I’ve eaten there and she appeared irritated that I’d asked. I kinda feel this may not be a good experience, since first impressions are very important! But, I look past this. Ordered the 6oz steak with vegetables and unlimited salad. The soup was included and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The salad bar was nice too, plenty of variety. My steak was good too and the side of vegetables were crunchy not soggy! Just how I like it! The lady waiting our table was very attentive, hard working and couldn’t do enough for us so she kind of made up for the«non existant welcome» at the front. Will I be back?! Probably not.

Horrible. NEVERAGAIN. The environment was depressing and the food tasted like it was microwaved! Nothing was fresh. Just to give you an idea: I came in, sat at the table and then went to the restroom. By the time I came back the food was already at the table!!! In less than 7 minutes! No way that was freshly prepared! Horrible.

We used to love this place before they remodeled. Now the salad bar area is wide open to everyone in line at the cash register and a toilet built in the middle of a dining area. So gross. Haven’t and won’t be going back. Such a shame really.

This was THEWORSTDININGEXPERIENCEEVER. If I could give sizzler a negative star, I would. I ordered a steak done medium.. it arrived at my table almost raw. I asked that it get redone. Ended up getting full of the bread. Asked to get my food to go, and they gave me a paper bag with foil! No to-go box or anything! By far THEE worst dining experience.

They used to have a side do it yourself buffet salad with the meal, but now it’s just a house salad. Just not worth it anymore.

This place sucks !!! The cook is a mess. At least the one that worked on 10/16/2015 in the evening. Like OMG I’ve had to deal with coming here at least once a year since I was a kid because some idiot would want there birthday here ! Ahmad the server is the only thing you can look forward to when coming here lol he’s entertaining. But other than that everything is just horrible. There is never a time they don’t mess up. If we need something specific done they always just switch everyone’s plate around its just a mad house I’m good lol I JUSTCANT anymore

What can you say about good old Sizzler’s? A traditional and original buffet/restaurant that is still around and doing well in certain parts of the country. And along Hayward’s lengthy Hesperian Blvd, Sizzler’s is indeed one of the popular businesses on that long street. I was doing some work in Hayward and came here with a big appetite for a late lunch. I had the Pork rib and chicken meal. For $ 13.99 +tax, I get a slab of pork rib smothered with barbecue sauce and a huge grilled chicken breast. I also get a scoop of home fries and an ear of corn with my meal. The ribs were very tender and fell of the bone. The chicken breast had a nice grill taste and tender as well. For additional, I also got the«All you can eat» salad bar access for an additional $ 3.99. On my part, the privilege of salad bar was overly excessive and was not necessary with the hearty meal. And of course, I can’t dine at Sizzler’s without the famous Garlic bread… yummy! There is only a handful of the chained restaurant left in the Bay Area. But Hayward is one of the popular and busiest locations.

I wish I could give ½ a star. I knew it would be mediocre coming here and haven’t been to a sizzler since early 2000’s and I was reminded why. Food sucked. Sent it back and service was even worse. If that was even possible.

OK, so I knew before I came here that this wasn’t going to be a fine dining experience. The last time I came here was when I was a kid in the 90’s. Well, it’s back. My family wanted to come here for old time’s sake, so I(hesitantly) obliged. I came back to the old Hayward shopping center where Circuit City used to be(now DD’s Discount). Chuck E. Cheese and Toys R’ Us still in tact! Anyways, the food was mediocre. Chicken tenders were dry and chewy and the honey mustard sauce is literally mayo and mustard mixed in with a bit of that honey they carry in-house. Salad bar was decent, but not a huge selection. Customer service is spotty, but out server Ahmad was nice! When I told him that the garlic bread tasted the same as it did when I was a kid 20 years ago, his eyes lit up and told me he’d worked at all the Sizzlers during that time. Even the forgotten location in Castro Valley! If you are like me and grew up eating here when you were young, just do it for the memories. The food is barely ok tasting and now I have a terrible stomach ache.

Food here is very salty. I ordered spinach as my side and it tasted like a huge amount of pepper accidentally spilled in it. I also ordered endless shrimp and the waiter was awesome about staying on top of it, making sure I never ran out. Salad bar is delicious and has a very wide selection.

Dude this is Sizzler. Part two. This time I got the fish. It looked so good in the picture. Um, it only looked good in the picture. Mine was so dry, lemon couldn’t save it. I sent it back. That is a rare event for me, but it was inedible. The server was nice and brought me chicken instead. Time to take fish off the menu, seriously. The salad bar is where its at. Great place to go with your friends.

Remember back in the good old days when coming here was a BIGDEAL? Lining up and having the server shout your order into that microphone of theirs is nostalgic for me and that CHEESETOAST! Just as good as i remembered. This particular location is great. The staff is fabulous and the food is tasty. The salad bar is well kept and the overall presentation of the restaurant is clean, just how i like it. Can’t go wrong with a an 8 ounce steak and unlimited fried shrimp for 16 bucks, oh! and look for a coupon in the mail for that unlimited salad bar! SCORE.

Three stars for the nice staff, the clean salad bar and the quick food! The floors and restrooms are really dirty and it is unappetizing.

4 stars for a Sizzler’s? Well, if you’re craving some meat and don’t want to spend a lot, Sizzler’s has reasonably priced entrees with $ 4.99 addition for the salad bar. The salad bar has a variety of fixings from greens, vegetables, mayo based salads(mac, potato, tuna), jello, along with the hot items like soup, taco bar, spaghetti with meatballs(slightly watery) fried chicken wings, with soft serve ice cream and peach cobbler. Definitely worth the price for the variety but don’t expect gourmet! My family has been coming to this location for at least 20+ years and over the years it was very family-oriented to downright ‘ghetto’(aka people with no restaurant etiquette, loud people, kids screaming and/or playing with the dessert bar, and people stuffing their boxes for take out) with staff that didn’t seem to care. Recently, they remodeled this location and it has a better feel and staff that seem to care. Veteran server, Ahmad has been working here at least 15 years and he’s efficient, friendly, and always checking on his tables. He’s definitely a hard worker and has been consistent through the years. 3 stars for the food, 4 for the overall customer service!

This place gets 3 stars alone on the BEST, and yes I mean BEST clam chowder in the world. Who would have thunk it! That sizzler of all the places that grace our lives has the best clam chowder? I know, I don’t get it either, but it does. It’s so creamy and delicious! Finger licking good! This place has been at this location since the brink of time. I was born and this place was already there. There is one server, that’s a bit older that always busts his ass to work. That gives this place another star. Everything after this is pretty standard. Nothing that will make you rave to your friends and family, but remember, they do have the best clam chowder. Better than anything that the SF wharf can even offer. Pretty crazy, but it’s true.
