This body shop deserves more than five stars. First and foremost Elias, the owner of the shop is a great person. He’s honest, trust worthy and easy to communicate with.
My car got rear ended and I brought in my 2013 Mustang to his shop for an estimate and I knew right away that this would be my shop to go to. I felt comfortable and welcomed. Elias was straight forward and honest. I left my car and I had them worked on it. Also, he helped me worked out all the legal process of the other party’s insurance who hit me. That was great!
Throughout the whole process, Elais and I communicated back and forth to see the progress of my car. I feel the reassurance leaving my car into his care.
When my car was finished it didn’t looked liked I got rear ended. My car looked brand new with original parts (bumper, tail lights, left exhaust). The shop even washed my car, detailed the interior and cleaned my engine hoses and wires. That was great of them. Like I said, my looked looked brand new :)
There are lots of body shops out there. But, this body shop is THE place to go. Honest, communicative, great quality and above all will do a GREAT job.

If I could rate my experience a ⁶⁄₅ I would. I was blown away by my experience here. The work was fantastic and the owner is friendly, attentive and communicative. I took a flyer on this place and I’m glad I did. I will be a customer for life.

Reliance isn’t on my insurance company’s preferred provider list, but they looked at my estimate and agreed to do the work at the estimated price. Extremely good communication from beginning to end. Clean work, and Elias even described all the ways a shady place would try to cut corners and his philosophical reasons for refusing to do so.
Apparently my insurance company even performed a spot-​audit on the repair and was satisfied.
They even returned my car to me fully detailed (minus a shampoo, which would have taken too long to dry). Attention to detail from top to bottom.
My highest recommendation.

My car was dented in a very minor parking incident, and it was really stressful to find an auto body shop that conducted affordable repairs. Not only did the owner — Elias — give me a very reasonable quote, he also went above and beyond to carefully explain the process of every detail to ensure that my car would be back to its original condition.
Elias provided a great detailed quote and even better customer service. He even kept me up-​to-​date during the repair as my car was under his care for a week. I really hope that I don’t I have to seek more repairs in the future, but I’m definitely coming back if need be.

Flawless repair. Extraordinary customer service. Our Honda was rear-​ended, its bumper destroyed. Reliance not only repaired it so well that it looked better than before the accident, but their customer service made us feel whole in the process. Reliance gets our highest recommendation.

I’ve been using Unilocal since 2012 but this is My very First review because these guys are that great!!! I actually found them on Unilocal after seeing they had a 5 start rating. The brothers Elias & Masood really take care of you. Let me start by saying they are straight up & they don’t try to take advantage by adding all types of extra stuff you don’t even need ESP since I’m a chick & MOST car shops try to do just that. They listen and they let you tell them the work YOU want done vs. telling you what u need done. So a dhl truck did a hit and run on my car and it took them 2 months to finalllyyyyy have it repaired. These guys were able to make my car look brand spanking new in just a couple of days! They even dropped my son & I off at the car rental place. The paint was matched sooooo perfectly you wouldn’t even know I had my bumper replaced and painted, tail light replaced, windshield replaced, new front hid lights & also getting rid of other existing scratches plus straightening out my crumpled license plate for me. Not to mention they washed my car inside and out upon pick up, so I’m extremely happy about the results and will definitely be coming back and sending my boyfriend here for his work as well. Happy Customer!!!

Best autonomy shop that I’ve been to. No hassle and offers quick and quality service for good prices. They stand by their work and did more then what was asked of them and went above and beyond in their customer service. I have a Ford Mustang 2013 that had pant damage on the back and when the work was done, it came out better then new. Highly recommend and will be a continued customer.

I just went to Reliance to get my front bumper fixed. Ellias was not only incredibly professional but also amazingly fair and honest re: cost. The whole experience was pretty great. I will absolutely be returning to Reliance for any future auto body work.

I was very pleased with the work and especially the service! Very friendly and straightforward. I appreciated that they got me my car back as soon as possible, they let me come off hours to drop off AND pick up my car, and they even took the extra time to fix a couple of extra scratches and dents free of charge. My car looks like new! A++++

I have a Mazda 3 that needed some body work done; with a huge dent on the hood and needed the front bumper replaced. I live in Hayward and went to a few body shops I’ve looked up on Unilocal and the quotes they gave me were a little high but i was willing to spend as much as it would cost to fix the damage because I couldn’t stand looking at my damaged car.
I was then referred to Elias at Reliance Auto Body and that he could get the job done. Once i got there the owners were really friendly and welcoming and was given a quote much lower than the other body shops had offered. Once given an offer that I couldn’t refuse, I handed over my keys and let Elias do his work on my car.
It took a couple days and once I picked the car up I was amazed by the work that was done. My car looked good as new and I am highly satisfied with the work. Will definitely come back if I need anything else done

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and have been working with Saleem. I’ve never had any complains, I’m the guy who knows NOTHING about cars only how to put gas, so it’s easy to take advantage but fortunately they never do. I’ve been bringing my moms car and all my company cars here to fix as well and have always had the best experience. And FAST service. Nobody likes waiting years for their car so that’s ideal. AND they give you a rental if you need one! His son Elias has been working with me lately and it’s like the 2.0 version. Couldn’t be happier! You need your car fixed for a reasonable price fast and don’t want to get hustled COME HERE! You won’t regret it!

I am a perfectionist, and I am not exaggerating at all when I say that I pay attention to the most minute detail of all the things I own. I drive a 2015 Honda Civic in Pearl White, and I keep it looking as clean as possible. So you can imagine my dismay when I another driver hit the front left side of my car and took off. The left side panel, bumper, headlight and foglight were damaged.)
I’ve only been in the East Bay for two months, so I was clueless as to where I should go to get it fixed. I hate having to deal with negotiating prices, arguing about the quality of the work, or having to return for «touch-​ups,» so I was very anxious about identifying a good place to take my car. I was referred to Elias, and the person, who recommended him to me gave him raving reviews, but I was not sure what to expect. The five star reviews on Unilocal are not exaggerating; the work he does is on point!
When I arrived to his shop last Monday (a week ago), he was very friendly and empathetic. One thing that truly irks me is when people dismiss my discomfort or blow off my desire for perfection. I kept saying that I was worried it wouldn’t look good anymore, and he patiently reassured me of the process. Even after he explained in detail what the job would entail, and I kept asking questions, he did not lose patience. Instead, he went out of his way to address my concerns and made sure that I was able to get a rental, so I could leave my car that very same day.
He said the work would be done by Friday, and it was! I was able to pick up my car today, and it looks great! I know where the damage was, and now you know because you’ve read the review, but if I hadn’t told you, you wouldn’t be able to tell. I am attaching the picture of the car when I picked it up, and a picture of when I initially purchased it. The lighting is different (one was taken under the beautiful, clear skies of Southern California, the other was taking under the beautiful cloudy skies of East Bay), but you get the general idea – he and his team did an AMAZING job.
I recommend him wholeheartedly and without reservation.

In very picky when it come to my camaro I own a 1998 camaro I brought it in for paint, ended up choosing a custom color with the help of Elias (owner) and damn do I get to say I didn’t think my car can look so good this place deserves more than 5 stars!

I took my Mercedes c280 to get the front bumper and panel repaired and painted. Elias did an amazing job! The car practically looked like nothing was wrong and all the parts lined up perfectly. Elias does quality work and He cares about the customer being happy. He was referred by my brother and I was not disappointed. There was even a minor scratch on my rear end and he buffed it out for free. This is my new go to shop. Honest and they take pride in what they do.

This is a hidden gem! A bit skeptical about all five star reviews, I decided to try this place based on a very good friend’s recommendation.
I have a leased car and a bit of damage on the front bumper and a couple other minor cosmetic issues. The quotes from other body shops made it difficult to get it covered from insurance from a timeline as well as cost point of view. Reliance was super flexible, and worked with my schedule as well as provided options very clearly about getting it covered with and without going through insurance. I picked my option and ended up saving decent amount of money.
As to the work, it was done on time, the car looked great and nicely cleaned. The body shop took time to fix a couple of minor dents and other items without requesting.
I would not look elsewhere for this kind of work if I ever need; although I wish I do not have to visit them very often:) it is one of the best auto body shops around… Do not hesitate you won’t be disappointed.

Anyhow, I got into an accident with my 2005 Camry and my left passenger door couldn’t open. This place got it fixed in two weeks as well as flawlessly clean my interior and retouch bumps on my rear bumpers.
Looks like a new car for me. Thanks guys!

This is a solid body shop. Took my Accord in for repair on the front passengers side fender. Reliance replaced and painted the new fender so well that I couldn’t even tell that there was ever damage! They finished on time and paint job matches the original perfectly. I’d use them again for any auto body work.

These guys are amazing and above all kind people. Somebody did a hit and run on my front bumper, side and they were able to fix it, after I went to another place and they told me over $ 2,500! Reliance, on the other hand, worked with me and explained the costs and what it would take to fix it, they treated me like a person foremost and they will always have my business because of that. They were realistic and honest and FAST, they told me they would have it done by Thursday and it was done on Wednesday, with the look of it I was skeptical but when I came it looked better than new.
One of the guys dropped me off at the BART station when I dropped my car off, and they also washed my car and vacuumed out the inside, how much better customer service could you ask for?! I’m so grateful to them and I will refer anyone who asks me to them! Thank you a million times over for looking out for me!
