I’m someone who absolutely despises doctors/​dentists and is terrified of pain. Dr. Ericson and his staff made it extremely comfortable for me. I had my wisdom teeth removed and I’ve never been sedated before or had any sort of surgery, so I was extremely scared and nervous. I was literally pooping my pants, but once I was sedated, I was out like a baby. Pain afterward was tolerable. I didn’t need the pain killers they prescribed. Just pop some ibuprofen and you’re golden. Staff was very helpful and professional, and Dr. Ericson called me to see how I was doing the same night.

Dr. Ericson and staff are top notch! I truly could not have asked for a better experience. I am so thankful for the initial consultation for my son with the doctor and assistant, as this provided a great introduction, pre-​surgery, where questions were answered and valuable information was given — the consult was definitely worth it! Thank you, Dr. Ericson and staff, for all you did for my son and me. We really appreciate it and recommend you highly!

Agree with love K review. Giving a 3 as I didn’t get an appoint. I have had two referrals from other dentists who confirmed what I needed. o note I already paid twice, (extraction and graft) I was told via phone and walk in that I can be seen only after referral from another specialist. I told staff, I did that, have the referral and recommendation, but his office still wanted to charge consultation/​exam fee of $ 190.00. Didn’t I just get sent out to confirm that? It is crazy and it is a loop you are forced to go in.

For a first time experience with an oral surgeon, it was great. Even though i wasn’t the one getting work done it was my 10 year old son, but after sitting down with Dr. Mark Ericson and the way he explained the whole procedure step by step to my son I can tell my son was less scared of getting the surgery done. Dr. Ericson was great with my son making sure everything was clear and answering any concerns we had. The surgery when great and he even called a few days later to check up on my son.

Beyond happy with my experience here, the Dr. And all his staff is magnificent and he even took the time to talk to me in the follow up appointment. Amazing practice.

My wife took my son to this dental office from a referral from dr. Thai dental office of hayward. Before donting any work my wife ask this office if we are going to pay any thing for the service they said NO, so they recommended that my son’s molar to be taken out and it was going to cost us $ 1180.00. Which $ 216 is the co-​pay from my insurance. The procedure calls for a nice IV and putting my son to sleep just to pull a molar out. So we seek a second opinion on the procedure, and I took my son to daily city dental office and they just did the root canal because the molar is a permanent toot. The Dentis in the in the daly city recommend to do the root canal coz my son is 9yrs old. So i did cancel the procedure at this office that will cost my $ 216 and my Insurance $ 1,180.00 for a procedure that is over killed of the process. Now i received this bill from this office stating that we have to pay $ 100 for consultation. But in fact we were referred to this office by a different dentist to pull that Moeller out. Either this two offices are in cahoots to ripoff people so I warn you sick second opinion if you go to this dental office.

Four days ago, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Ericson. Going into the procedure, I was incredibly anxious since I have never been under anesthesia, or needed surgery for anything before. Dr. Ericson and his staff were incredibly kind, reassuring, and patient. They answered all of my questions, as well as my mother’s, and even called the night after the procedure to make sure I was doing alright. I highly suggest this office, especially those who are nervous about their procedure!

My daughter’s wisdom teeth removal experience was handled with care and compassion and competence. She is terrified of shots and dental procedures, and he and his staff did a great job of helping her through.

I came to Dr. Ericson’s office for dental implants, I had a great experience not only for his staff were cordial and patient, but also Dr. Ericson was very professional, obviously intelligent, and extremely well educated in his field. From the consultation appointment to the surgery to the follow ups, I knew I was in good hands and indeed what an extraordinary journey! Thank you very much Dr. Ericson!

My youngest daughter was in need of having her Wisdom teeth
extracted. When we met with Dr. Ericson and his staff I knew that it

Very reliable such a professional he already extracted my wives teeth and my wisdom teeth and did an awesome job very polite by far the best dental surgeon hands down

Great place just read the reviews. Here is everything that I did wrong.
1. I lost the packet they give you in the consult. I did not realize I would be on soft foods for 4 – 5 weeks. I am so hungry all the time.
2. The Narco did not work for me, but 3 advil did. So you may want to have some advil on hand to avoid going to the drugstore in a great deal of pain like I did.
4. If you have babies like I do get a baby sitter or some help for more than 1day.
5. If you think you may be coming down with something delay the procedure. I have the flu and four wisdom teeth out. Also, I am breast feeding so I cannot take any medications beyond advil. I am so out of it.
This place is pricey, but I would only want the best oral surgeon taking out my teeth.

Absolutely the BEST Dentist and Oral Surgeon on the planet. Trust you me my friends I’ve had yours, his, and my share of dental work and surgeries over the years… Lets just say I wasn’t blessed with the greatest teeth… So I feel that I am definitely an expert when it comes to the mouth!
Dr. Ericson is super chill and calm, not old or creepy, and he’s got an amazing bed side manor. I had three wisdom teeth pulled 24 hours ago, in which one was pretty compacted. Aside from the «pain killer-​hangover» I feel well enough to work! Don’t worry, I won’t! Doctors orders!
If you are in need of some Oral Surgery, do not hesitate. Dr. Mark Ericson and his Amazing staff will get you in and out with no pain!

Dr. Ericson is one of the best oral surgeons I met!!! The environment is so friendly and he answered all my questions and concerns about having 8 TEETH REMOVED yes!!! all at once! I got braces last week but before the procedure i was told that I needed to get my 4 wisdom teeth out and 4 more. He followed up with me after surgery during the weekend to make sure I was okay. That says a lot about his personality, very caring about his patients. I am still healing but seems to go well. I really recommend this place!!!

I only go to the dentist once every ten years or so (when there’s an emergency) because of a horrendous experience with a dentist when I was a kid.
So, I recently broke a tooth and had to have it removed. I was referred to Dr Ericson, who turned out to be dentistry’s gold standard.
Kind. Empathetic. Reassuring. Professional. I got in to see him the next day, and the appointment began exactly on time. He took a lot of time with me in a comfortable consultation room (vs. explaining everything while I’m laying back, mouth agape, with the interrogation light in my face) explaining, reassuring, answering all of my questions.
The surgery started precisely on time. It was painless. Afterward, he again sat down with me in the consultation room and made sure that I understood all of the aftercare instructions.
His staff is supremely competent, courteous, friendly and professional. I cannot recommend Dr Ericson highly enough.

My son. His wisdom teeth. Not a good combination. When it was time to have the offending teeth removed, Dr. Mossup and Dr. Ericson’s office took great care to make the experience as positive as possible. Over the years, they have seen me, my brother, and my husband at their office. I trust them completely! The staff (as always) was so helpful, patiently answering all my «mom» questions about how in the world the Dr. was going to remove my kid’s teeth, and what do we feed him after the procedure, and how long will it take him to fully heal. As well as answering my questions, Dr. Ericson listened to my son’s concerns too. He even called to check on my boy! No one does that anymore! I can’t say enough about our fantastic experience with everyone in their office. I will definitely be calling them again to take care of my family. Such amazing people!

My teenage son was referred to this office by our family dentist to have his impacted wisdom teeth out. After asking around, I discovered many others I know have gone to this office and been 100% happy.
Dr. Ericson answered all of this mom’s neurotic questions with patience and understanding. You see, when I had my wisdom teeth out a million years ago, I did not wake up from the anesthesia and was in the hospital for four days. Needless to say, I was a nervous wreck about having my first born under anesthesia in a doctor’s office. Dr. Ericson too is a dad and has had his own child under anesthesia and understands how it feels to be a parent. He was VERY reassuring and VERY comforting.
Dr. Ericson and his staff walked us through everything, including letting me see where their emergency equipment is and what their procedure is in case of emergency complications. Dr. Ericson also told us about his military experience and how he was trained. After hearing that my son has a love for flying and is interested in joining the military at some point, the two had a nice long talk about the Army.
The surgery couldn’t have gone better. The recovery was fine (confession, my son was eating jelly beans 4 days after the surgery!). Dr. Ericson called us about 9pm the night of the surgery to see how things were going and to see if we had any questions and saw us in the office a few days later to see how things were healing.
The office staff was a dream to work with both with scheduling appointments and taking care of insurance. The office staff and Dr. Ericson made everything as easy and comfortable as possible for both my son and me, the overly neurotic mom.
In the future, if kiddo #2 needs to have her wisdom teeth out, we won’t hesitate to go back to Dr. Ericson. Five stars all the way around!

well im a huge guy 6’7″ and like 480 pounds. and i was in horrible pain. i busted my left lower wisdom tooth. and i hate dentists. too many bad experiences when i was a kid.
i was referred here by a dentist. and i met one of the coolest doctors ever. dr. ericson. right away i was scheduled to get all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. the cost $ 2600
the doctor took his time and sedated me. and within an hour he pulled all 4 wisdom teeth and had me out of the office.
later that night i had issues i called the office and boom i was transfered right to the doctor. he told me what i needed to do. and sure enough it worked next day. i really felt like crap and boom i called the office and i was transfered to him again. he talked me through everything again and i felt better.
when i looked on the wall i learned that ericson is was in the army. how kick ass is that. a doc that is a vet.
ericson is by far one of the coolest doctors ever. and his staff are some of the most beautiful women by far i seen in a doctors office.

After postponing my 2 lower wisdom teeth extractions for many years after I’ve gotten my braces off, I decided to finally read through Unilocal reviews in my area to find an oral surgeon. Dr. Mossop’s office was able to combine both of my insurances so I didn’t have to pay out of pocket. I was pretty nervous since this was my first ever surgery but I was reassured that it should be a smooth procedure. I was put on the IV and I was out. I don’t remember anything from the surgery and that’s a good thing cause that means it was painless! The next thing I remember was stumbling into the house as if I was drunk and then I KO’d on my bed. After a day or 2 of listening to «through the wire» and «novacane,» I felt more active and back to normal. The swelling lasted about a week but the bulk of the swelling only last a few days. The openings completely closed after about a month.
The most important part that Dr. Mossop stresses is the post-​surgery, since you have to use the syringe that they give you and squirt water into the openings after every meal so that food doesn’t get stuck in there, otherwise it can heal over the food particles. I recommended my sister to Dr. Mossop’s office and she went there to get all 4 of her wisdom teeth out in one sitting. Both of us had an easy and comfortable experience there.

I was referred to Dr. Mossop by my regular dentist, Dr Jupina for extracting all 4 of my wisdom teeth. Let me start off by saying that I am one of those people who will avoid the dentist at all costs. But, I knew I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled.
I walk into his office for the consultation and was soooo nervous, but he sat me down and completely calmed me down. I left feeling so much more at ease.
Now, the day of surgery, Dr Mossop had informed me that he was getting some shot in his wrist and couldnt operate for a few hours after the shot so his partner Dr. Bennett was the one who actually operated but Dr Mossop was in the room the whole time. [note: he told me about this days before the surgery, he didnt just surprise me with switching surgeons]
I got ALL 4 of my widsom teeth pulled on Friday afternoon and here it is Sunday afternoon and I am completely fine. Even yesterday, the day after surgery, I was in pretty much no pain. Everyone, including myself, is so surprised how quickly I healed.
