Lisa’s Hair and Nails

No longer in business. Not surprised Aug 2015 had the worst haircut and experience in my life. I nearly trew up in the chair. Went for a trim. Took off 8 inches plus!!!

I love this place. Lisa and her staff are really nice. Great for waxing. It’s a comfortable environment.

so I meant to review this place last year when I got my hair cut here, but realized I forgot to do so after getting my recent haircut somewhere else.
This was by far the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I should start by saying that I am a guy with shoulder-​length hair and I live close to this shop so I thought I would try getting a trim here. There was no one in there when I went in during the day on a Friday, but I felt as though they didn’t want me there because the lady spent only a few minutes on my hair. I told her I wanted my hair «trimmed 2 inches and cleaned up so it looks nice.» But she must have heard different because all she did was grab my hair from the back and cut straight across taking 4 inches off. She didn’t even comb my hair forward, which left my hair that was combed behind my ears almost 2 inches longer than the rest of my hair. She spent no time neatly trimming the ends or layering which I thought was the normal thing to do. Heck, she didn’t even trim up my neck hair at all so that was all out of whack.
After this place butchered my hair I had to go to another place to see if they could save my long hair. The lady there said it was the worst hair cut she had ever seen. Friends and family poked fun at my bad haircut for the month it took for my hair to grow long enough to cover up the mistakes.
This place might be okay if you have short hair or if you don’t care what you look like… but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

No idea what happen to this place. After they changed owners it’s gone %100 done hill. All they want to do is rush you in and rush you out.
Getting your hair cut is NOT a race! It’s something take takes time and you should want to do a quality job. I can’t even remember the name of the lady who cut my hair but it will be the last time I will go here EVER!
I would of had a better cut at the local barber college. I think if i turned on my lawn mower and go into a fight with it, My hair would of looked better.
She didn’t even line up my hair in the back of my head. I ask to see a mirror when the older women was finished to check to see if she lined up my hair in the back. It was really off center and not lined up. I even pointed it out to her asking her to fix it
She gave me a ahhhh really and reluctantly start to fix the mess of the rush hair cut job.
I had to have her fix it 2 times, I’m not sure but I can tell when my hair is lined up and not lined up. She made me look like utter crap.
My handsome levels were at all time low, I wore a hat most of the week until my hair grow enough to get it cut right.
If you want a rush and crappy job go here.
Otherwise STAY FAR FAR AWAY!

I like the salon a lot, not only is it close to home but Lisa is also very good, I have had waxing appointments and a full set done by her. My family has been there for peidcures and hair cuts. Prices are low and quality is consistent. I am a licensed manicurist so I am picky.
They are closed Tuesday though, sometimes I can’t get in to see them but I will try when I get the chance.
The reveiws below in regards to the dog are misdirected. The salon does not have a dog. There are tennants that live above the salon. They are the ones with the dog.
Try it out. You will think it’s a great value for your $

Why is your dog kept in such poor conditions??? I ride by and can not believe the state of your dog!!! Give it away if you cant care for it properly!!!

Love this new local hair and nail salon if you need a wax a cut or just mani pedi this is the place to go

I came for a pedicure and will never come back. The place was really dirty, hair in the tub and stuff on the arm rests. There were no licenses posted and I am skeptical about how clean the tools were. She also stabbed my toe. I would not recommend this place!

I live right up the street so I thought I would try it and support the local business. The owner was very nice but was hard for me to understand. I got a pedicure and manicure. They cleaned up my nails good and gave great massages. They use hot towels to remove excess lotion which is a plus in my book.
I brought in my own nail polish but I did notice their selection is not all that great but will do for future.
I’m not sure if it was my good tip or what but they were surprisingly very nice and caring.
The only thing they don’t do is gel nail polish which is why I have them the less of a star.
I definitely would go back and support.
