Day & Nite Pest Control

I have had quarterly service for almost 2 years and it has worked out very well. The bugs are gone and the company has always been very responsive and readily available to come out between service appointments as needed whenever I needed extra bug fighting efforts (such as times during the summer heat waves when ants come up and try to move in to your home :-)). Great customer service as well. I have had other pest control service and Day & Nite has been the best. I definitely recommend this service.

I hired the company after my house was overrun with ants. Looked like I had an ant colony break a nest somewhere in the basement and this company guaranteed to get rid of the ants. After the first visit and spraying everywhere — the ants came back a day after. We called the tech back but he demanded that we sign the ongoing monthly contract. I really wanted to get rid of the infestation fast and had no choice so i signed a monthly contract. After 3 months of weekly spraying — no signs of ants disappearing; in fact they continued spreading and occupying entire house. By accident I happen to speak to my neighbor who simply brought me a small square anti-​ant bait from the home depot. The ants were gone within 12 hours: they simply turned up dead in huge piles everywhere, and never came back. I couldn’t believe that I was taken for a ride for these many months by Day & Nite; ended up paying 100x the cost of the anti-​ant bait for $ 4.99. What a rip-​off. But wait– when I called and explained what happened and requested cancellation of monthly services — the company insisted to continue to provide «ongoing maintenance» and continued billing me for another month until I refused to pay. Horrible service, even worse dealing with their management that really has no idea about the service; their goal — prolong the «spraying» as long as they can, collect as much as they can. If you need results — turn to local home goods store. Stay away from these guys!

Does not handle bedbugs, but at least the girl who answered was nice and didn’t make me sit on hold forever. Oh well, on to the next place…

Thank God for Day & Nite! I called them Tuesday afternoon and was able to get an appointment for Wednesday morning. My appt window was between 8 and 10, and Jerry arrived by 8:20. He was very friendly, able to quickly identify the gross bugs I had discovered, and did a good job spraying. He was also able to recommend some things for us to do to prevent the bugs from coming back. Great service!
