I definitely do NOT recommend this office, I worked there for 2 weeks and god if Im not mistaken the only reason they fired me must of been because they had never had an employee well trained in HIPPA and OSHA. Karla (manager and Dr. Demirozu’s wife) did not ask for my Medical Assistant certificate, neither my HIPPA, OSHA, or Phlebotomy license she just hired me on the spot! I could of been any one faking to be an M.A. The rooms, oh god they have old foldable beds which barely can hold a 200 pound patient. If this is a sleep disorder specialty, don’t you think you might want some good professional beds? patient information is NOT held private! No HIPPA or patient release authorizations are updated in pts charts, they had me request a report for a patient with no signed authorization from the patient. Really? I wouldn’t like my health information floating from office to office without my consent. Patient sign in sheet is placed right in the front and only highlighted once patients are checked in, ALL names, phone numbers, and address are up front all day! Isn’t Dr. s offices supposed to have removable stickers as sign in sheets which keeps your information private? and what through me off the most was I administered a Flu vaccine to another employee, tell me why they had NOT ONE biohazard! Karla really had me wrap the syringe in a paper bag and place it on storage. What Drs office doesn’t have a Biohazard bin? jajaja ridiculous! Bottom point, this office is a disaster, I do not recommend it!
