We are a Christian family childcare based in the city of Hawthorne, CA. We provide the warmth and comfort of a home-​away-​from-​home setting. Christian First-​Step Family Childcare is the third in our line of childcare facilities and the first to include religion in its curriculum. We work with children ranging in ages from newborn to 13 years old; we specialize in early learning (newborn to age 5) and prepare them for entering the BIG world of kindergarten.

History

Established in 2008.

Christian First-​Step is an extension of First-​Step Family Childcare & Learning Place. It is in our third location and is focused on teaching and living according to biblical morals and principals. Christian First-​Step was able to open due to the growing demand and recommendations from Parents that use our service. We began with one small group of students and now have 3 age-​group classrooms, excellent staff, and host meetings and events for the adults.

Meet the Business Owner

Saira E.

Business Owner

Saira has over 12 years experience working with children ages newborn to 13. She started off as a T. A while completing her Child Development courses and went on to open her own business in the childcare field in 2008. She specializes in Early Education and Christian Studies. She has held leadership positions not only in previous jobs but in church as a Sunday School Teacher as well. In her spare time shes take courses in child development to keep up with the latest news in the field and continue to better her business.
