My dad wanted to get takeout, I should have instead of sitting in the cold, dirty place. A guy walked out of men’s restroom leaving wet foot prints behind, I don’t want to know what it was. Egg roll was dry and tasted like it was fried in really old oil. General tso chicken did not taste like anything I’ve had before. Thank goodness I ordered boneless spareribs because those were pretty good. When you eat in its served on styrofoam plates with flimsy plastic firks. The people working were really nice!

Best Chinese I ever had. Spear ribs tender, chicken fingers golden brown, shrimp fried rice tasty. Customer service is great. I drive here from NH. Look at my meal for 12 bucks with a coke. Don’t tell me this is less that 5 stars because your on crack rocks. Go for yourself.

Food is still really good. But wow. Can anyone clean this place? Tables were all nasty with the place mostly empty. Looking around there is dust and dirt in all the corners(not lucky. Wokka wokka). Seriously, this place has either got grimey or I’ve just noticed it.

I stopped in at Lucky Corner for lunch takeout. This old school Chinese restaurant is very low key, which offers takeout with open kitchen and a spacious dining area with self seating and free hot tea. I ordered the Luncheon Special 3: Chicken Chow Mein, Pork Fried Rice with Egg Roll($ 5.75 plus tax). The good amount of food was ready to go in under 10 minutes. The chicken chow mein(in a separate styrofoam bowl in the container(good idea) had a mix of sprouts & shredded celery and pieces of boneless chicken(a couple had gristle). The pork fried rice was generic, which had a mix of soft rice and roast pork pieces(red food colored). The egg roll was filled with plenty of ground pork and finely minced cabbage, and seasoning, not greasy. Overall, the food was okay.

First time at this place. Boneless ribs were tasty, nice char on them. Boneless fingers had a decent amount of chicken in them. Fried shrimp, all dough & a waste of money. Crab Ragoon, about the same as anywhere else. Place says it’s take out but there was plenty of tables. Cleanliness was about what to be expected at a joint like this… mediocre. Free tea wouldn’t make me return. Only had the items mentioned above, not bad. If you’re looking for the same thing that you can get at any other Chinese joint this place works.

This is now the place I go all the time for my Chinese food. The price is a little high with the pu pu for two costing almost 30 dollars with rice but it worth it and also comes with shrimp. It’s enough to feed thee maybe four people. Also they always give enough duck sauce and will even give extra without a fuss like other places.

Telephone ordering received brusk and curt responses. Food quality poor: chicken fingers tough like they had been prepared hours earlier, sweet sauce watered down. A real disappointment.

10 years here, I’ve visited lucky corner 2 times only. I love Chinese food but never too into the Polynesian American Chinese food. Lucky corner is the average place to go when you’re in a hurry, and low in cash. Self serve tea, no waitstaff to tip, clean, and very fast with the order. It’s like going to McDonald. I mean do they precook everything and just microwaved your order? Okay taste, like I say I’m never into Polynesian food, too greasy…

I have an expensive palate and although Lucky Corner is not a restaurant I would like to dine in given there is no atmosphere, it is the best Chinese Take Out in town! The food is consistently fresh and cooked well and the kitchen is clean.

It’s hard to mess up this type of cuisine but they did. Not good asian food.

You definitely don’t want to eat in here — really just a takeout joint. But the food is fresh, fast, and consistently good. Really enjoy the Hot and Sour soup! Staff is very efficient.

I wouldn’t eat in at Lucky Corner –there’s no ambience, it’s general plastic tables etc but you can’t beat it for take out. Fresh and quick and consistent. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. One of the better Chinese takeouts in this area. Way better than Hawaiian Isle where everything is covered in brown gravy style sauce.

I’m on a quest to find a new chinese restaurant since China Tea House was closed due to a fire in Methuen. I saw this on the way to Longhorn Steakhouse and decided to give it a try afterwards. I hate to invest alot in a restaurant that I didn’t read anything on Unilocal on so I got a dinner special for about $ 8. Food was OK. Crab rangoon was a little funky tasting and fried rice was light brown which is a big turnoff. Boneless ribs were pretty good and the chow mein was a little dry without alot of sauce. Place is an old bank and works like a sub shop. Go up to order and pay and they’ll call you when food is ready. Really wish the food was better as it would’ve been a good option to go for a quick dinner when in the mood for chinese.

I was pretty impressed with the quality of the food here. Clean dining area and friendly staff. They even have free hot tea for customers waiting or dining in. Take out or Dine in only. I highly recommend the crab Rangoons.

Eating in is ok, but its best to take out and enjoy at home. The food is pretty good, standard chinese american fare. We have been coming here for years now and we still go every once in a while. Its inexpensive and fast. They also are open on most holidays that other places are closed on.

Lucky Corner is a clean, no frills Chinese restaurant. It’s primarily takeout, but there are enough tables that it’s never full. I prefer it to Hawaiian Isle(down the street), other people in my office disagree. They have a few very busy days when they have a shortened menu. I think the day after Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day are their busiest days but I’m not sure. The food is good, the people are friendly, and the prices are right. Works for me. Quick edit(1÷6÷14): This review is old. Lucky Corner has since had a big fire and was rebuilt. I don’t know what it’s like now, but Lucky Corner was good back in the day.
