Haffner’s Service Station

i’ve tried and tied to tear myself away from going to this gas station because ive actually had an experience or three with rude people that work there. ive gotten a car wash here and it literally rained on my car 10 minutes later and a lot of other places would’ve let me get my car redone if it rains within 24 hours of a wash (not them) i fell on ice there while washing my car myself like two years ago and i mean there was ice everywhere and i busted my behind and the guy there had the nerve to be cocky with me when i told him about his ice. they were like what ice as they were all freaking out and grabbing buckets of sand and ice melting stuff and throwing it everywhere. my fiancé was so angry (and he is very mild tempered) that he almost knocked the guys head off… yet some how and for some reason the few cents that i save on gas there and the fact that it is like one minute away from my house keep luring me there time and time again. i cant believe i still go there but i do. maybe one day ill take a stand and release myself from its grasp but it hasn’t happened yet lol

Just ok, for an old style car wash.
They have cheap washes here starting at $ 6.00 bucks.
It is the old style with the rubber whips and wheels that flap on your car.
Our truck was still dirty in spots after– to be expected. What do you expect for a $ 6.00 wash?
They do have wash it yourself stalls– where you plop in quarters and wash and scrub as fast as you can in your suits and skirts.

It was okay. The grill was kind of meh, but good comfort food. And it’s open ²⁴⁄₇. Good convenient store though.

Haffner’s is a self service gas station. They don’t have their own brand of gas but buy the odd lots. Whatev’s, they’re usually the cheapest around town. The «service station» name is a little misleading since they provide gas and car wash, no mechanic.
This location is that it’s always at least 2 cents (or more) cheaper than the one in Lafayette Square (Winter St, Haverhill). So if you have a choice, come to this location.
Oh, and FYI, the gas price on the sign is the cash price. Credit and debit is usually about 4 cents more. They do the credit card hold but inform you by way of a sticker on the pump. They also limit you to $ 75 per credit card transaction so if you’ve got a big tank and are running empty, you may have to do two transactions — frustrating!
At least they have blue-​ish water for the windshield cleaner buckets. Some stations provide watery substances or nothing at all.
