Not well supplied, Veggies are not taken care of. There always long line to get out of the store. They tend not stay open late

The only supermarket in the general area– it’s okay. The inside could be nicer and the cashiers could have slightly less attitudes. What more can you expect from the A&P, though?

Bought some crab legs. Got them home and they smelled fishy. Not a good sign. We cooked them and they tasted like bleach. Once was told by a cousin who worked for a market that when a product reached expiration it was washed in bleach and put back out in the case. Seems it happened to me.

It’s a shame that this is the only supermarket in town. The cashiers are nice(so is the lady who brings in the flowers), but that’s the only upside of this place. The produce is not very fresh and I don’t think they keep the veggies and perishable drinks cold enough. But it’s fine if you need a few basic necessities.

Bad experience. Long story short, the prices they advertise do NOT match the prices at the cash register. The receipt is so complicated I was not able to understand if I got the promotion prices. I went to Customer Service desk and the woman who works for A&P did not understand the receipt. She kept looking at the receipt. Finally I talked to Paul(GM) and he acknowledged the errors. All he could do was to say«Human error, it happens all the time and any supermarket». No apology. I will drive further and shop somewhere else. One way or another, they will get you. You will pay more than what they advertise.

Just downright dirty and gross– everything from flies in the deli case to mold on the ceiling tiles. I wouldn’t buy anything here that didn’t come in a can or a box… and I’d be sure to wipe the container off when I got home!

This supermarket is meh… A little expensive for my tastes and in need of a major renovation/upgrade. If you live nearby the area and need to shop locally, it’s an okay option, and checkout time is relatively quick and painless. But I never could do my full shopping there, as they don’t have the items I need(and it is often overpriced).

Much smaller than the one in Yonkers. I go here quite often when I need just a few things. The deli counter is usually less busy and they tend to have better meats. What I do really like about this place is that they have a good number of registers open and none of those do it yourself ones. I really cannot believe how handy that shopper card comes in. I average a $ 5 savings every time. You need to get one.
