Subway

We were coming back from Ringwood Park, and needed to stop here for lunch.
We found a parking spot in the back of the place. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the sounds of loud, screeching, dub-​step. REALLY!!! O_​O Well, this is certainly the last type of music that anyone would expect to deal with when patronizing a Subway. What didn’t surprise me was the fact that other dine-​in patrons complained about the music, and so much that the employees turned it off. Peace at last. :P (I’ve heard better dub-​step on Pandora…)
Anyways, the nice employees behind the counter took our orders without a problem. I placed an order for my usual 6-​inch Subway Club, and my parents decided to share a Double Chicken Chopped Salad. I also got a bag of NY Reuben flavored Lay’s Potato Chips to go along with my sandwich. We then proceeded to sit at a table.
My parents actually enjoyed their salad, so there’s not much I can say about that. Even though my sandwich was okay, I did notice a few things that were not very impressive. One, even though my sandwich was toasted, the bread wasn’t crispy. Another one was that there wasn’t as much herbs and cheese on my Italian Herbs and Cheese bread as the other locations. This is the first time that I’ve been to a location where their bread isn’t as flavorful as the others.
They have only one restroom, and it’s located in the back. There’s no sign there. The door which is next to the back exit will bring you right there. But surprise, surprise. The door DOESN’T CLOSE ALL THE WAY. It wouldn’t click, thus making the door impossible to lock. Well, at least it’s okay for washing hands. Otherwise, CREEPY!
What they serve here is healthier than a greasy hamburger. But the Subway in Oakland is 10 times better than this location. Maybe we’ll just drive a few miles north on I-​287 just to get there since this location is in need of some serious improvements. As far as the overall rating is concerned, I have experienced better elsewhere.
