From start to finish, Geoff and his crew were amazing to work with. Geoff was responsive and so easy to communicate with, showed up on time, and his team was super efficient during our move. In addition to being extremely professional and careful in packing and unloading, they are all incredibly nice and willing to go out of their way to be helpful and make sure everything is in the right place before they leave. They definitely made moving — a typically unpleasant experience — as easy as possible. Even better, they did everything at a great price! I recommend them to anyone!

Geoff and his very capable crew helped move me from Charlottesville to Covington, La. and did a fantastic job! They were extremely pleasant and professional and there were no surprises from start to finish. His rates are very competitive and he goes the extra mile to maintain communication and assist in making your move as easy as possible.
After everything was unloaded, he asked if there was anything he could help with before they left. That may be a small thing, but huge in my eyes in terms of their customer-​oriented service.
I highly recommend VMS for an in-​state or out-​of-​state move. It beats throwing all your belongings on a truck with other loads. They provided the attention and service that a local company generally can do over a national chain.

The crew showed up on time and was ready to unload several thousand pounds worth of pizza ovens in two pieces. This was no small task and no amount of brute force could’ve got this oven into my restaurant, it was a thinking man’s game. That’s what impressed me the most about these guys was their brilliant approach to problem solving. They worked out all the kinks and got it through a doorway, though the door had to be removed, across a wood floor over 100 years old, over a tile floor, and then stacked one on top of the other. I only wish I’d got a video of the whole thing because it was very impressive. They were also very friendly the entire time and it all and all took about an hour. I recommend this crew to everyone. When getting your stuff moved its so important to find reliable professionals and this is hard when looking for a mover. I’ve heard many horror stories… Valley Moving Solutions may not have a fleet of trucks but they make up for it in the quality work they do. Thanks guys! You rock!

Geoff from Valley Moving Solutions was excellent from the first quote request email I sent him. I was coordinating a move in Harrisonburg, and Geoff always had quick responses to my emails. He always answered my questions and provided great customer service. Also, his price for our move (3 hours with 2 employees) was more than half cheaper than the prices other companies quoted us. All of the furniture was taken apart, loaded, transported, unloaded into our house without a scratch, and assembled in the location we wanted the furniture pieces. They even had to walk up a STEEP incline then a flight of steps into the front door. Excellent job, excellent company, and excellent people! What a great local company! I will use them the next time we move!

I had a great experience with Valley Moving Solutions. They were extremely professional and whenever they foresaw issues with certain pieces they’d be moving, they immediately notified me so I could decide. It was clear that they cared about the customer experience.
They were also extremely fast. They moved my entire apartment and storage unit to our new house in about 4 hours. They made great use of the u-​haul and packed it as full as they could — they did things as efficiently as possible. I appreciated their desire to complete the move as efficiently as possible and not draw it out to get more hourly rate.
Their price was incredible too. It was cheap enough where it didn’t break the bank, but expensive enough that I knew that they had experience. Worth every penny.

Geoff and his crew are really great! Very professional, courteous, and most importantly efficient! They move quickly, take good care of your belongings, and are always eager to please! We were in such good hands with Geoff during a big move to our new home. So glad we called him, this is the 3^rd job we’ve hired him for! He moved a piano for us, moved my businesses, heavy equipment, and of course moved us into our new house! Can’t rave enough, hire these guys!

Looked for someone close and available and these guys were the ones. They fit us into their schedule very quickly. They showed up early and were very easy going. Still, their work ethic was very professional. They packed everything according to our needs and desires. I highly recommend them. If I move again, I will be calling these guys first!
