Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta

Have gotten my eyebrows done here in the past with great success. However, I came in earlier today and had someone new do them, let me tell you it was a mistake. My eyebrows are now flat and thin with half of the fullness as before I came in (and I was barely in need of a cleanup, I just wanted some strays trimmed for an upcoming event). After I asked her to keep them thick she literally took off half of each eyebrow, you can see the sensitive pale skin that isn’t used to sunlight on both the top and bottom of my current disastrous brows. She over waxed both sides of my eyebrows so now they are extremely short and far away from each other as well. I was honestly so shocked when she handed me the mirror– reminded me of the first time I owned my own tweezers and went overboard with the plucking as my eyebrows are both thin and completely flat and unarched. I really have to reiterate that I get my eyebrows done regularly (last appointment was three weeks ago) and this was hands down the worst I’ve ever had done to me. She also managed to rip off a second portion of skin alongside my upper lip (I would say a solid inch is completely red, swollen, and ripped along the middle) from ripping the wax off vertically. On top of that, she managed to not only get wax on my lip but then ripped it off and caused my lip to bleed (which was extremely painful as you might imagine). I tried to warn her that there was hot wax on my lip but she insisted she knew and then continued to rip off a layer of lip because she was not really listening and was talking to other passing employees (which in my mind should have consisted making this service free) Honestly she was a nice girl but was too chatty and not paying attention at all– should’ve been tipped off when she managed to get wax in my clipped back hair. Will not be coming back here (especially since my eyebrows will need significant time to grow back), especially after there was no consideration taken for all of her mistakes. I’m extremely disappointed and outright upset with this experience, I held benefit to a higher standard than this. I will not be refining after this all around terrible experience.

I will admit I have a very hardcore obsession with my eyebrows. My eyebrows mean the world to me so of course you know that means only the best care for them. I get that care at the Benefit Brow Bar from Maria. She is phenomenal! She is helpful, listens and gets the job done while being friendly. What I love about her is that she takes time to take a look at you to create the perfect shape for your brow specifically for you. I prefer a fuller look that she achieves flawlessly every time. I never break out for the products and the process is quick and not-​so-​painful. She also does a great job of filling in your brows more to give you the full effect as well as introduce new products to you. Maria is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend her and the Brow Bar at Ulta. For eyebrows expect to pay $ 20. They also offer other options as well.
Expect a 10 – 15 minute process with little to no wait.
