Prim Nails Spa

This place is ridiculously expensive. I brought a co-​worker here for a pedicure for her birthday. and I was told after sitting down that a solid color gel pedicure would be $ 45 plus $ 5 polish removal. That is absolutely Ridiculous!!! I have been getting my nails done consistently (never un-​manicured or not done) for over 4 years now. Phoenix, Vancouver, Hazel Dell, Battle Ground, Portland, Clackamas — never in all my years have I been charged that much for a gel pedi. My normal place I got to (that I HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the Vancouver area) charges nothing for gel-​polish removal, and is still $ 10 less! The also do an amazing job and will repair damaged nails up to one week later for free (they’re located in the Vancouver mall btw, for anyone looking! Sassy’s Nails). I ended up paying nearly $ 90 for two pedis at this place. Prim. I will not be returning again.

Do not recommend!!! I went in with my family for mani/​pedis and I got a full set of solar nails put on by heather. I specifically asked for white tips and she put on the clear ones and put some kind of white stuff on top. When I told her what I wanted again she took them off and put on the white tips. She didn’t cut or clean my nails and she didn’t cut my cuticles which are overgrown and looking bad. During the mani I had to listen to her and a coworker talk about quitting their jobs and what salons they wanted to go to. She got the pink stuff all over my skin and didn’t clean it off so I had to peel it off which really hurt. She did a design on my nails which looks great! I looked at my nails when she was done and most of them have bubbles all over the place. Then came time for the pedi which she also did. She was rough and tried to charge me $ 5 for using the cheese grater looking thing on my feet. The whole pedi lasted about 15 minutes with painting my toenails. When she was finished I had a bunch of dead skin left and didn’t look like I had gotten one at all. The next evening I noticed that one of my thumb nails had cracked and lifted!!! It ended up coming all the way off. I went back in and the lady I got couldn’t even tell the difference between solar and acrylic, so she did it as an acrylic. She left rough edges, the nail super long compared to the rest, crooked AND bubbles all over the place. Will never be going back.

Overall not a great experience. Since they do walk-​ins they should have a better judgement with time. Don’t tell me 30 min and come back and ended being 1 hour…
The quality of the service on my nails were mediocre. No attention to detail that much here. All the massaging sucks so I never even bother having massages.
I would come here when I’m lazy to do my own manicures and pedicures and that its close to home. Probably shouldn’t waste my time and money here. Onto the next salon.

This was a really fun nail place. I thought they did a good job, of course they took a lot of time but what nail place doesn’t?! I would definitely come back. I loved the colors they had available.

These people know nails. I have been going here off and on for a few years now and I have never been disappointed. They can come across as a little busy and irritated when you 1^st walk in at times. After quickly determining if and when someone will have time though, they are all really nice people. I think I have had almost everyone as a nail tech at some point or another; Everyone’s style is a little different. Normally I get shellac mani/​pedi. They don’t give me too much grief if I want to do the same color over and over, but they pick out great colors for me when I ask them to. I love the massage chairs!

They were not super friendly and the paint is already flaking off my fingers and toes. It’s been 24 hours.

I have mixed emotions about this place. I stopped in for a quick manicure because they had openings. They were friendly when they greeted me which was a plus because many reviews said they were not friendly.
The lady that did my nails was nice but did not understand that i wanted my nails short… like no nail at all. I ended up having to shape and file them myself. I was also a little annoyed that I was not told when she first started that I would need to buy the manicure kit if I did not have one. It was only a dollar but it was the principle of not knowing in advance.
Before she had even painted my nails she had to move me from my spot to the drying station where she painted my nails there. I was a little confused until I realized she had another walk in that needed a service.
She did a good job with my cuticles, however she didn’t paint my full nail, she left some sides and edges undone. They have not yet chipped a few days later which is a plus. She left my nails rough on the bed when she filed them which on some they do not look smooth, they have a rougher finish.
I can’t complain too much because I read reviews before I went in and decided to give it a shot anyways. Next time I’m in the area I will probably look for a different salon.
The guy that works there seems super pleasant and nice though.

Crappy. I came here because it’s in the mall, and i thought why not? Well, i shouldn’t have… I paid $ 25 for a full acrylic set, and while that’s a good deal, it’s a bad job. I just got plain single colored polish, and they were done by the male worker. The guy was sniffling, wiping his nose the whole time. (gross.) I thought he did a good job at first, but then later i realized they were crooked and uneven. He put me under the air drying thingy, and it made bubbles on my polish. A week and a half after going, 3 of my nails have now fallen off. (I’m not messing around, making them loose or anything.) They are all loose and about to pop off (coming off at the cuticle.) I feel like a little kid with cheap glue on nails, hah. Anyways, never going back!

I always go here to get my solar tips done. Johnny normally does them. He’s very fast and does a great job. As for prices the solar nails r no more then any other nail places I’ve been. The girls r nice and can actually communicate in perfect English unlike some places. The salon is clean, and they have a TON of colors to choose from, more then any where I’ve been. I’ve been here more then 10 times and never had a bad experience.

I was a bit skeptical going into here at first. One of the men that work here is not very friendly or talkative. When I walked in he asked what I wanted and after I answered just completely ignored me. So I sat and waited just a couple minutes.
Tina waved me over for my simple manicure/​pedicure. It was fantastic! I needed a day to relax and feel girly and she really contributed to that. She was nice to talk to and did my nails wonderfully. I heard one of the other ladies giving some young girls advice and I thought that was really cool too. I would definitely go back (as long as the guy wasn’t doing my nails… I’m sure he’s good, I just like to talk sometimes and I feel like he doesn’t).

i went with my friend and they did a horrible job on our shellac nails and the 2 asian men there were rude af! i do not recomend it at all.

Great place! My friend suggested this place because it’s close to her house and we were on a time limit. They immediately got us in and started, and the guy who did my nails was great! Everyone was friendly and outgoing, fast and moderately priced. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.

My friend and I went here for shellac manicures. We were tired from shopping and needed a break! The ladies who did our nails were sweet and professional. We were happy with our services. We did not have to wait. They had many choices of colors for the shellac, more than I’ve seen anywhere else. They don’t quite get 5 stars though because my friend didn’t like the massage with the lady wearing gloves still, and the manicures were a tad bit messy on a few fingers. But overall they get my good scores.

Horrible service and unprofessional staff.
I took my 8 year old here for pedicures on our Mother-​Daughter date. Mostly out of convenience because it was in the mall. By far the WORST nail spa experience I have ever had. The staff all gossiped IN ENGLISH about the other customers, other employees and the OWNERS of the salon, complaining that they were always on vacation and ‘it must be nice to waste all of their money’.
The staff argued under their breath about who had to do the next customer saying things like, «I’m not doing HER toes.» They bad mouthed everyone who was in their behind their backs. I was mortified that my daughter was listening to all of this. They didn’t even ask her if she wanted a flower on her toe!
The pedicures we received were the worst I have ever gotten. My daughter sat there for an additional 20 minutes while my gal finished my toes. Hers were started at the same time so it was obvious they hurried through her service because she was a child. They smeared as soon as we walked out but I was so mad I didn’t go back in. After 20 extra minutes of curing, they should have been set.
I really hope the owners read this. We got our pedicures around 5:00p on 7÷30÷14. Check the books to see who was working that night and send them to some kind of retail service training. Overpriced services for subpar results and an awful spa environment. I will never go back to this salon again. Stay away.

Always please with my service and experience here! My nails look bomb and they’re the sweetest friendliest people ever, I have no idea why they only have 2 stars! I guess haters gonna hate

Very unhappy with the manicure, customer service and overall attitude. We were fooled by the nice appearance of the place, but we’ll never go back again. The lady that gave us the manicures was very rude, and talked to us like we were airhead teenagers. She didn’t want to help us with colors, was very rude when we asked questions and did not do a good job. The lady that did my friend’s manicure cut her and didn’t say anything. It’s been only two days since my manicure and it’s already chipped off.
I do not recommend this place to anyone, go somewhere else, and don’t be fooled by the cute décor.

Johnny does a great job on my wifes nails and her friends nails all the time. I’ve had my feet done here and it was fabulous! nothing but good things to say about this place, been going here for years

I love Prim! I’ve never had a bad experience there ever! Great prices and very friendly staff. :D I highly recommend it!

So glad I followed a girlfriend’s advice and tried Prim. I made an appointment for a pedicure and then a French manicure shellac.
The spa was clean, the staff was very friendly, and my nail tech, Vi, took good care of me. I lounged in the massage chair while getting my pedicure and felt super relaxed. Then on to the manicure – a week and a half later and the shellac still looks great.
I am pleased with Prim and I will definitely be going back for more pampering.
