Specialties

Hana Kai Maui is an oceanfront condominium hotel located on Hana Bay. We provide clean, updated accommodations showcasing the amazing views over Hana Bay. Sleep to the sounds of the ocean and awake to a glorious Hana sunrise! We provide daily housekeeping service, free WiFi, all natural amenities, full kitchens, coffee, egyptian cotton linens, beach towels, etc. We accept 1 night reservations, but recommend you stay at least 2 nights to really experience all that Hana has to offer!

History

Established in 1970.

Hana Kai Maui was built in 1970. We have 2 buildings comprised of a total of 19 units. We look out over Waikaloa Beach and out to Kapueokahi (aka: Hana Bay) which is rich in Hawaiian History. Queen Kaahumanu, favorite wife of Kamemeha, was born in a cave overlooking Hana Bay. There are many stories and ancient legends of the Hana area. The population of Hana are still predominantly Hawaiian and we are known as the last Hawaiian place. Hana affects you deeply. It may be the majestic beauty of the area, the cooling natural pools, the open pastures, the Hana Highway, the history or the people, but most who come here will agree that Hana is a place unlike any other.
