Everything from the ordinary to the extraordinary… made especially for each occasion! Weddings to birthdays, bridal showers to baby showers, grooms cakes to smash cakes, and any other reason to celebrate.

History

Established in 2014.

The Mad Batter Bakery started out as me playing around with recipes and making cakes for friends and family. I quickly learned that I had a natural talent that I loved and so began the process to become a home based bakery. From permits to large purchases, from designing/​creating a separate commercial kitchen in my home to getting my business license and approved health inspection… my dream became a reality! The Mad Batter Bakery was officially in business as of late July 2014.

Thank you for your interest in my story and taking the time to read this extremely condensed version!

It has been a long journey to find something I am passionate about and love spending time doing. I love making delicious cakes for others to enjoy and love the challenge of designing a specialty cake, then making it come to life. There is something about having a vision in your head and being able to make it a reality to share with others.

I have worked in the library field, have my bachelor’s in Library Information and Services, have served my city as a police officer, owned my own home daycare business, and now I own my own licensed and insured home based bakery! Every recipe I perfect, every new person who hears about my products, and every cake I make helps continue my success.
