Located in the Hampton Village section of town. Amelia’s Bistro is a cute storefront café which serves up sandwiches, soups, salads, burritos, Italian dishes, desserts, coffee, bottled drinks, and beer & wine. I went here and got lunch takeout recently. I ordered a California Club($ 6.95) which had bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, mayo, and chicken breast on choice of bread(I chose sourdough). While I was waiting for my sandwich, I went outside and watched 4 Hampton PD cruisers(2 minutes apart each) blow through the US1/NH 27 intersection(town owned traffic signal, fairly new) with lights and siren blaring prempting a green light heading north. Must have been a real emergency. Anywho, I got my California Club sandwich($ 6.95 plus tax) and when I began to eat it later on, the bread was untoasted white bread and not the sourdough bread I specified. The sandwich tasted fine, but very soft white bread with all those fillings? I specifically wanted a firm bread like sourdough for a sandwich with several items like the one I ordered. I ended up finishing the sandwich up later, but only when I could use the toaster back at the field office.
