heard this place closed… not sure because i havent been down that way in a while. ive tried this place a few times because of its location but each time was reminded how badly an incompetent chef and staff can screw up simple dishes. lets first talk about clams on the half shell… a dish even a monkey can assemble. so to screw that up would mean, well you get it. so i order the clams and the waitress brings me a plate with 6 clams, no ice, with the clams on a large lettuce leaf. you have to be kidding me. they werent out of ice because there was ice in my drink so whoever’s call that was is simply a moron… thats all. the spaghetti tasted old and was probably cooked a few days earlier then reheated in the microwave. the fish was awful and im not gonna even waste my time explaining the many things wrong with it in hopes that you wont waste your time eating it. on another occasion i received the thoughtful gift of food poisoning from the culinary gods in the kitchen. all in all i would steer clear of this hole and i wouldnt bother going to oaklands either unless you like eating tastless food… then by all means go ahead. best maxta p

Just terrible. Coconut Shrimp tasted like Mr. Clean, Spicy Stuffed Clams was weird mix of flavors and missing clam, and baked stuffed flounder with signature sauce was missing signature sauce, was dry, and just not good. $ 125 wasted. The new name is Sunwater Grill on Top. What

I just have to warn diners about the terribly awful service and food at this restaurant. Ordered the lobster special. 45 minutes later [only saw waiter when he walked by asking customers if they wanted more drinks] it arrived with cold fries and listen to this– fried celery and onions, along with mushy red peppers and frozen broccoli to take the place of the corn on the cob. When I asked if the corn would be coming later, I was told«O none left — we’re substituting«the broccoli». Fried celery! The lobster was sliding in a green watery mess and was too salty to eat. I had to ask for water & bread and parmesan cheese for spaghetti and later a bag to try and salvage the lobster at home. I had to ask a minimum of 3 times for each and 5 times for the cheese. It was almost comical. This is my first review of anything ever, but I just have to tell others to save their money. With money so tight, it’s more important than ever to find a restaurant with adequate service and fair prices. It is true that Top of the Wharf just this week closed their sister restaurant Sun Water Grill next door, so they probably had extra customers, but really turn people away if you can’t handle the traffic rather that ruin your reputation. Do Not Go to Top of the Wharf. O. I almost forgot. Bill arrived, just the total, no individual prices. I asked for the bill with the items ordered and saw that I was charged $ 8.25 for my glass of wine, although it was listed on the menu for $ 7.50. not a big deal, but again, it ruins your reputation. No stars if possible. Don’t go

Went here one Thursday night for some drinks. Decent bar specials and they had some loud music & pong. Good time if it’s nice out, and fairly unknown. On Saturdays, it’s a spillover lot for the Drift, where they run a nice beer-per-ticket scam for the«free bus» tickets so you can shuttle over to the full-lot Drift. It’s quite creepy, frankly, on nights where no one’s there. $ 36 and begrudging tip later, we pounded our 6 beers and headed down Dune Rd. to actual people at an actual bar. The other option, a cab from the Beach Bar, is $ 10pp and no beer is involved, so I guess I should count my blessings.
