One star for service. One star for the view of the water. But everything else was subpar. Came here with some girlfriends and ordered some apps with our drinks. The apps are generously sized, but everything was extremely bland, especially for what we were paying for. * Lobster Bisque — it was pinker than I’m used to, which would have been fine if it tasted fine, but the lobster tasted artificial. Halfway through my bowl I was over it, and i’m usually trying to scrape up every last bit. * Steamed Mussels with White Wine Sauce — not sure where the sauce was. There was bread to dip, but it was almost all water, probably for the steam. * Baked Clams — this dish was strange. In the casserole dish were the clams with some bread mixture that had gone in the oven. It looked like something you would use as stuffing or a dip, except there was nothing to do that with. So you just ate it with a fork. I guess I was expected whole clams baked from the oven. * Mozzarella Sticks — probably the best thing that we ate. On top of that, they decided to open the windows that evening, and there were mosquito bites. I managed to get out alive with a 5 mosquito bites, one of which is swelling up on my ankle about the size of my palm. Let’s just say we tried to get out of there as soon as possible before the mosquitoes ate us alive.

Awful!!! Don’t go here!!! Owners are new to restaurant business and it shows. They are actually Dry Wall Contractors. Which must be why their food taste like sheetrock. Food is lousy. It took two hours to get my meal! I ordered the sliced steak. It was burnt to a crisp as well as the bread it came with. It was chaos in there. From the bartenders, to the wait staff, to the rude managers. No apologies for the bad service. I will NOT go back here. This place will not make it. They have a bar/nightclub. If that is what you want to call it. It was LAME!!! Very unhip and they book old fogie bands. Definitely not a happening place to go to in the Hamptons. And they have the nerve to charge a cover to see some washed up band with about 12 geriatrics dancing. BORING and DEAD. And«Beach Bar» should not even be in their name. A total misnomer. The view of the bay water in the back looks like a cesspool. It is dirty, nasty and unsightly in the back. A broken down pier and very industrial looking. The front has a pristine view of the ROAD. You cannot even see the Ocean from the front. Some«Beach Bar». I would not recommend this place.

***** Amazing views, bay and ocean water everywhere. **** Seafood here is very good. The best flounder in The Hampton’s I have tried. Super just caught fresh. they are 2 minutes from a commercial fishing place and don’t have to let things sit. Not fried and not boring… Broiled with only a dust of seasoned bread crumbs, parsley and and fresh lemon. Flounder always disappoints me. not here — I took the waitresses suggestion. * New England clam chower was salty & starchy… cannot compete with it’s neighbor at Sunwater by a long shot… or Tullys over the bridge… I think they are bringing it in from Corjays which is the best source for just caught commercial fishing. but they are not great cooks so may be sending over overly processed clam chowder. So here or Corjays(over the bridge) for fish… not here for chowder.(Tullys over the bridge or Sunwater next door) ***** Staff and chef were super friendly. I went midweek… afternoon so only about a dozen people here(it’s a big 3 side wrap around deck and bar/tables inside) but on the weekends can be super busy and evenings is a happening indoor bar with open doors to the deck. Just opened service may be glitchy and not fancy here. But the views and proximity to just caught fish is why to come.
