This is a middle of the road Americanized Cantonese style shop. Nice floor plan and fairly clean. Friendly owners and service. Decent food, if not exceptional. This may only be my nit to pick, but I have a small issue with being charged for a pot of hot water with 2 cheap teabags inside. Customarily, tea was a part of the meal provided gratis. Here, there is a cost. At lunch, if you want a special, you can have a free can of soda or cup of soup, but the tea cost extra. I don’t quite understand the logic. The Beef Chow Fun was decent, but given the house rules on tea, I will find another place to satisfy my fat noodle cravings. A man has to stand for something!

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. First time I ordered Tso’s Chicken which comes with fried rice and egg roll for to go. I went back home my order and there in no fried rice in the order. Tso’s chicken was worst, and was not fresh. Second time I ordered Hot and Sour soup and it felt like I was drinking soy sauce. I would never go back there. I would give 0 star if I could.

Rating this place solely on the«generic chinese» food. The food at this restaurant has a lot of flavor. Try out the dumpling soup to see what we mean. Generally speaking, this place makes tastier food than most Chinese joints in the area. Also recommend the chef’s special pan fried noodles. The dish has a bed of crispy noodles(similar to the Cantonese variety) with a tasty dark brown sauce. We get a side of hot oil to amp up the flavors.

I’ve only had food picked up or delivered since I live 2 minutes away. Never dined in. Food is decent overall. The dumplings, fried or steamed, are probably the best thing on the menu that I have tried. General Tso’s chicken is not up to par. Too sweet and the sauce is always too thick.

Some of the best take-out chinese in the area, if not the best. The only reason I’m not giving it 5-stars is the ambiance in the restaurant itself is nothing to write home about. But the food’s excellent. And the prices are good to begin with, but they give coupons with all of their menus that make them better. The sesame chicken is my favorite. Plus, they have some diet specials(steamed rice & vegetables and shrimp/steak/chicken/etc.) that are also really good.

Typically take out Chinese restaurant, used to go to the one on S. Olden down the street, but their service and child labor bothered me, so I moved here. Always consistent and what you expect… greasiness at it’s best!
