Specialties

We specialize in making delicious Italian Pastry and Breads. Stuffed Breads are always a favorite and our Party Cannoli is a huge hit! The Party Cannoli is a Giant 24″ cannoli shell filled with at least 36 mini cannoli (inside the cannoli shell). We then top it off with two layers of ricotta (cannoli cream) on the outsides to make it look like a Giant Cannoli.

As always our specialty is Italian Rum Cake. But we now make chocolate cake, yellow cake, carrot cake, red velvet, and cupcakes for all occasions. Fondant is also available now too.

History

Established in 1970.

DiSorbo’s Italian Bakery in Hamden was started in 1970 by Luigi and Linda DiSorbo and still remains true to its roots as a family business. The DiSorbo Family still owns and operates the business on a daily basis.

Manager
