Wow, love these guys! Originally found them several years back from a ‘painter for a day’ auction donation for my kids school and recently hired them again to paint the exterior of our home including a beautiful faux finish on the front stucco and staining our new entry door. They helped with color consultation and painted 20… yes 20! sample colors on our house to choose from. They were flexible on timing when we hit a snag with another contractor finishing work on time and nothing but professional throughout the entire process. Lastly I’ll say that they won’t give up until its perfect! They pay attention to the smallest details and take pride in every part of the process. No question I’d hire them again in a heartbeat!

I know that new, fresh paint, can greatly improve a room. But for all the reasons and excuses, I was just not up to do the task myself. I decided to hire a house painter, and after researching quotes, I choose Sunrise. From the initial meeting to the final walk through– they kept me informed, met the finish deadline, cleaned up and repaired and painted my tired, neglected ceilings and walls. Best money I’ve spent, in awhile. Coming home from work and walking in the door– to see the project finished– priceless.

I hired these guys to paint the exterior of my house. I know my house isn’t the Ritz HMB or a million dollar house in a really nice neighborhood but it’s my little house up in the clouds of Pacifica. The guys were nice enough but I just feel the way they went about painting my house was that it wasn’t really worth their time and their full effort painting my house. I had to call them back to paint areas that they missed and clean up the around the trim. I had really spent a bit of $$ to put new cement fiber siding on half the house and they ended up getting white paint on the siding, they even painted a whole side piece of cement fiber trim blue when it was beyond obvious that it should not have been touched. Heck if they would have done that to each piece of trim on either side of the house at least it would have matched but only one side was ruined. They were suppose to come back to fix/​repaint but I haven’t heard anything. I’m sorry but I don’t think that I have to continuously call and e-​mail to have them come out for a 4^th time to fix what they said they would. I know businesses get busy but it just goes again with the feeling of not really being worth their time. And venting over.

We hired Sunrise to paint our kitchen, half the living room and a bedroom. They were on time, fast and took extra care with the masking. No mess left behind, price was reasonable for quality work. What more do you want in a painting company? You won’t be disappointed.

Robert and team were recommended to me by my designer. A miscommunication between them resulted in the wrong color in my hallway, but they corrected it for free, and immediately. I’ll definitely be calling them again. Their attention to quality work was great.

A huge thank you to Sunrise Painting for an excellent (and fast) job in painting my living room ceiling today. The ceiling is very high and sloped and to make it more difficult, it’s a popcorn ceiling. It now looks bright and fresh and the painter really took care to protect everything extremely well — I didn’t even need to move the couches out of the room. They showed up on time and were professional in every sense. Thank you Sunrise! :-)

We highly recommend this company. In painting the exterior of our house the crew was hard-​working, professional, and paid attention to detail. All in the company were a pleasure to work with. The crew showed up on time, and finished the job when predicted. We’ve worked with other paint contractors, but have never had a more positive experience.

Sunrise painted the exterior of my home last week. They did an awesome job… on time, quality work, excellent cleanup post painting. The crew were professional and friendly. I was amazed that they were in and out with a completed job in just 3 days! I highly recommend them!

We used Sunrise to texture and paint our ceilings after cottage cheese removal. We got off to a rough start, because the foreman never communicated a start time with me. What’s worse, the job was initially left incomplete. However, they did everything in their power to correct the situation. They were courteous and professional and, in the end, did a very nice job. I think our situation was the result of one or two poor workers and bad communication. They are probably worth a cautious try.

Sunrise Painting did a terrific job on my house. I had them do some interior painting, and their painters were very good, plus they worked quickly and left the rooms very clean when they were finished. They also pressure washed the outside of my house to make it look new again. I highly recommend them.

We hired Sunrise on the advice of our general contractor. What a great referral! Our home’s decks were badly stained (in both senses of the word) and needed a lot of work. The crew was friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. The colored stain is gorgeous and the even application make the decks look like they’re new.
The company has already done some beautiful interior work for us, matching and custom mixing the paint when necessary. They’re coming back next week to put some American Clay in my sunroom. Can’t wait to see it!

Sunrise Painting has been around Half Moon Bay for a while now. If you see any really beautifully painted homes or businesses, chances are, Sunrise did the job. They have great ideas when it comes to color, and can even take on special finishes like American Clay and other textures and styles. I had a room that was a mess and needed not only paint, but drywall patching, taping and sanding, plus a new finish. They did it all, with great attention to detail for the baseboards, crown molding, and doorways. No Mess! It was CLEAN when they left. That is Owner, Robert Dragony’s personal attention to quality control is what makes Sunrise truly special. I love them and so will you!
