Mike and his crew did a pretty good job. His administration skills and follow up could use some work. Overall the work was done well and I’m pleased with the result.

Really poor customer service, the proprietor is a cranky bird. Took in two screens with bent frames. They couldn’t figure out how to order replacements based on the computer codes that were still attached to the screens after installation. They tried to order anyway and brought me the wrong screens. They did not match what I brought in. They said the manufacturer did not make them anymore. Baloney these screens were three months old. They refused to try again to find the right screens. I said by phone I would pick them up. After that the place put my broken screens outside in the street! What nerve, they were rude,
These people should go into another trade maybe fishing would suit them.

Brought in two glass shelfves and the brass fasteners that holds them in place. Owner measured the shelf template I provided I (which, I explained, was too thick to fit in the fasteners). I encouraged him to keep the fasteners to be sure the new shelf would work. He insisted he didn’t need this.
Picked up the job, paid $ 96 and discovered back home that glass was again too thick! Called and was told «Your fault, you ordered ¾’glass». «No», said I, «YOU measured the glass. I ordered an outcome (for glass to fit). You didn’t solve the problem i paid you for.» Owner was defensive and gruff. Refused to explore how to meet me half way. Wanted another $ 96 to do job again.
Avoid these folks. I am disputing the charge on my credit card.

Ive never had a worse home repair experience! We contacted them for a quote to repair the neighbors window, and they never provided a written estimate. Instead, they replaced the broken pane with an old piece of glass. The entire repair took less than 10 minutes and hey rendered a bill for over $ 180. when we called to question them, they repeatedly avoided our calls and several weeks later showed up at the neighbors house demanding payment. When the neighbor asked us to intervene Mike, the owner of HMB Glass, refused to discuss the bill or lack or estimate, which is required by law, and instead demanded payment. Needless to say, we will be seeing him in court!

These people do good work but be careful with their estimates. They told me it would cost me «around $ 200» to replace glass in my door and the final bill was over $ 500.00.
Get an estimate in writing and hold them to it.

I had a great experience at the HMB Glass Co. They are open on Saturdays. Prompt and polite service. Good prices.

Called trying to get an estimate to replace several windows. Spent several minutes giving all the information to the woman… only to get a call back later that afternoon that they don’t give estimates via the phone. Hard to believe and a bit of a time waster … fortunately two other companies were more than happy to give me preliminary phone estimates.

Tucked away in an industrial strip in HMB (yes, they do have one), this little store turns out to be a gem. In addition to offering retrofits, custom showers, vanities, etc, they also cut glass to any shape.
INCREDIBLY patient with dimwits such as myself (seemingly unable to do basic measurements), they are fair priced and quick to respond.
Definitely a fan.
