Coastside Child Development Center

Let me start by saying that I am fairly new to this center, but I think it’s important for parents to have a updated review of the center.
I looked EVERYWHERE on the coast for care for our 11 month old and I really did not want to put the kiddo in a day care center. We were looking for 3x a week care and it was impossible to find. I can not tell you how happy I am that I found this place!
The teachers at this center are FANTASTIC! They are incredibly involved and are very easy to talk to and they truly love the kids. They have an incredible play area outside the kids love and the center is very clean. The kids love it!
The director of the center is very responsive and has been really easy to work with.
I have been really happy with the center and my little boy is so happy every time I pick him up. I can not say enough nice things about this place or the people that work here. Yes, you will pay a bit more for child care at a center than a home day care… but the extra price has been worth it.

It is now called the Coastside Child Development Center.
My sons have gone here and I have to say, this is a great center.
Let me tell you, I was NOT eager to put my kids in a «center». But, after trying home care, I needed something more stable. I was very hesitant, and was critical the entire time. But, I tried it and I am very glad I did.
The people there are fantastic — warm, fun, nice and LOVE kids. Heck, a few even came to my sons birthday party one weekend. That is how much they love their kids. I felt like I can talk to them, have them listen and we can have an active and engaging conversation about my child. They will do whatever I ask and they are totally approachable.
I do have to say, there was a period of time a few years ago when the center went through some employee turnover but since that ended, the center seems to have been doing great.
If you are looking for a center for you infant, toddler or preschooler, I can’t recommend this center enough.

Our nine-​year-​old attended the center back in the day. This is an outstanding center with great care and strong parent involvement. The location is a little tough for those of us on the Midcoast, but it’s worth the trip.

Our child has been going here since he was 5 months old. They have a great staff full of loving teachers. They do require parent involvement in maintenance days and fund raisers so if you’re too busy you may wish to look elsewhere. But if you want a place that your child will be happy, safe and well cared for this is it. — #1 place on the coast for infants and toddlers.
