I m trying buy cow but they doesn’t know about what they selling. Customer service really bad. Just act like scamming peoples.

I’ve bought small pigs from Bar None a few times for pig roasts. It’s rustic, but clean. Great place, reasonable prices.

Didn’t experience anything like the negative posts. Place was clean, nice facilities, Joe and his daughter were super helpful over the phone and price was cheaper than anywhere in SF.
I got a 60lbs pig for a roast and it was delicious! Thanks Bar None!

Bar None Ranches has provided me with 3 high quality pigs over the past 3 years. Joe the manager has gone out of his way to accommodate my requests. The service has always been top notch and very polite.
I just roasted a 105 lb pig from them today. It cooked up wonderfully. I am so glad to have this ranch to source my pigs from. Thank you Joe!

This place has very bad costumer service. They don’t respect their clients. All the lambs and goats are very skinny and don’t eat enough. The place is dirty, I’ve been there 3 times and I never ever found a single spot that was clean. Also, it smells really bad. Animal poop is ever where and the people never clean up. And it’s expensive. I don’t recommend anyone to go there. If you want to buy goat and lamb, goto San Francisco-there’s a store named Salama. He has everything. The location is Geary and Jones, SF, Ca. It has reasonable prices and it’s cheaper than Bar None.

Good quality beef, pork, lamb and goat! The reviews of these other guys are false! I have showed up on a day when they are slammed! I have been visiting this place for the past ten years and just like any company you can have a bad day! You can’t review a place unless you have been there multiple times! I’ve been there when on certain holidays they are slammed but most the time your in and out! And you don’t get no cleaner than this place! What kind of person calls a women a Latin whore? Really douch bag? Classy! Your review of this place should be deleted! excellent product! I heard facebook founder made a visit and had no complaints! If you want a good human place to get fresh quality animal bar none is A+ all the way!

If you want to find a business that is a total scam… This is the place. This place is filthy. In fact, they have signs everywhere that forbid taking of any pictures or videos. I have been to ranches that take care of their farm animals a lot better. I was referred originally by a friend who said this ranch offers organic meat and eggs. You just go and pick out the animal (pigs, cows, chickens, rabbits, goats, lamb, etc.) and they will slaughter it for you (although they charge an additional butchering fee). My friend and I went there trying to get a whole lamb for a party. When we visited this place in the recent past, they quoted $ 150 – 190 for the lamb plus the $ 15 – 20 butchering fee. At that time, it sounded like an OK deal. This time, when we went back, they jacked up the price last minute and charged us $ 230 instead. When we confronted the owner regarding why the sudden price hike, he said that that was the way it is, take it or leave it. Since my friend really needed the lamb for his BBQ party, we ended up succumbing to this BS business and forked out a lot more than what we were originally quoted. I will never come back to this dump. I hope the USDA does an inspection of this place and give them a hefty fine. This place needs a reality check. Come here if you want to get screwed by the owner and support a business that does not take care of their farm animals.
