Cafe Daze

Is this place closed down? I came on a Sunday at 10:30 and it was totally shut down. Please let me know. It looks like it has good reviews so I was looking forward to checking it out!

Went to lounge 46 for a friends bday. These guys were there and I have to say their hookah was on point. Usually hookah at clubs is crap but these guys know how to pack and customer service is the top priority. Def plan to visit their hookah lounge. Check them out!!!

Best lounge around, nice vibe, great music, phenomenal hookahs, hands down deserves more than 5 stars, the owners are great and best service from my buddy kam. I’ve smoked in plenty of other hookah spots but you need to try my default hookah: peach, pineapple & mint!

Was just here again tonight and it was awesome. super crowded so we had to wait alittle bit for a table but this place still has going on!

This is my go-​to hookah spot. I go here quite regularly and now that it’s under new management, it’s 1000 times better! They always have had excellent customer service but it is now exceptional. The people who work there are always so friendly as well as helpful with recommendations, playing good music etc. I always recommend this spot to anyone from North Jersey. If you go on a weekend, I would recommend calling first for a reservation because it does fill up quickly! :)

Let me say that, I have been coming to this place for a year now and the service is excellent. Hookah is at a fair price and there’s a bunch of varieties to choose. Manager is super nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. You get your money’s worth and you can BYOB.

Decided to do my birthday here this year and overall I had a good time. The atmosphere is nice with mostly couches all around, as well as the good music on weekends with a mixture of hip hop, Spanish, Pop, top 40 etc. If you plan to come on the weekend definitely make a reservation in advance!!! It gets booked very quickly. Make sure you tell them exactly how many people because although they were accommodating for the few extras they gave me some trouble in the beginning. Parking, once the lot is full it can be a pain to find some in the area. Overall however the hookah was great I’ve been to many places in nj and I approve. There’s many flavors and some special mixtures too. Pricing is the usual, ranging from 15 and up. And this place is BYOB!!! Only downside is I wish the waitstaff was more attentive. I had to get up a lot to place my order, to ask for more charcoal as well as ice and cups.

I visit from San Jose, CA, was looking on Unilocal found the best hookah lounge in town, has the phenomenal fruit bowls in all over town. They serve the best of the best tobacco Belize, mainly their customers service is amazing, hands down. Their hookahs lasts long time. I will be returning soon with some other friends. Thank you to all who work in Café Daze hookah lounge for being the best of the best and taking care of the customers.

Best place for hookah ever! So many different and unique flavors and mixes, this place is great! Pink Lemonade, Bahama Breeze, and Summer Mix to name a few. Weekdays are laid back and more of a chill environment, weekends are in party mode, The DJ plays great music and everything. The staff is extremely friendly and will assist you in finding the best flavor for you to smoke and make you feel at home! One of the best places for hookah!

Ok place.
1) This is by no means a «Hookah Lounge.» It is a room with some couches, some Arabic posters/​décor on the walls, and black lights.
2) The hookah are just decent. Not the best.
3) They have cover charge during the weekends.
4) When you have South Paterson or Clifton nearby. This place is a waste of time.
5) They only refill the coal twice, that’s it.
6) I am giving it a 4 star because of the convenience. It is near my house.

I come here all the time. Café Daze is one of my favorite places to hang out. They have great hookah and music and its never a disappointment. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to chill out and smoke hookah with some friends.

My Favorite hookah place in this area. Formerly known as café Dewan– Café Daze is continuing what they had and added lot more with the new management team/​owners. I’ve probably gone to most of the hookah lounges in the NJ by now, and I can say this place definitely have the best hookah and lasts the longest. The place is very chill, quiet & reserved in the weekdays but also turned up & fun in the weekend. They have a DJ in the weekend hence there is $ 5 cover but it’s worth it. It gets busy & packed in the weekend so try to get here early. The sitting arrangements are very cozy & so is the inside décor. What I really love about this place is that they are constantly coming up with new exotic hookah flavors and mixes so if you are regular, you don’t have to keep smoking the same thing over and over again. I also love their fruit base hookah which includes water melon, orange or whatever else you can think of — you can also request any custom hookah mix if that is your thing. If you are a football fan like me, they are open for most of the NFL games so you can come smoke hookah & watch the games here as well. Its also BYOB so bring a 6 –pack! I personally never had issue with the service– when asked, they even replace the hookah head and/​or pipe without any questions.
If you are hookah fan or looking a new place to try hookah — Give this place a try, I highly recommend it.

Booked a birthday party 1 week in advance for a large group… Kem called to inform me the DAY OF that he over booked not one, but FIVE parties and that he would not accommodate my reservations… said there is nothing he can do and that he would rather have the other parties «new customers» before accommodating his returning customers. Very unprofessional and the same day no less, I will never go here again and be sure to make him double check his schedule at least 10 times before believing his lies and letting him ruin birthday plans.

After being seated, it took a good 10 minutes before a «waiter», dressed in a hoody and jeans, came over to take our order. Waited another 10 minutes for the Hookah to be served, and yet another 5 for them to bring out the coals. Once it was going, the Hookah was very weak. Seemed like the staff had no idea how to start a Hookah correctly.
The other customers were all very young (under 21) and thought the place was awesome since it’s BYOB. Very loud. Staff was more interested in sitting and talking with the young girls than anything else.
The music was awful — mostly hip-​hop played through a really shitty set of speakers, until the «DJ» came on and started playing some Hard House and Techno. Definitely not the kind of music I’d want to hear during a relaxing Hookah experience.
The place got much more crowded around 11pm when the DJ took over.
$ 5 cover is automatically charged on the weekends! REALLY?!
If you are looking for a nice relaxing evening with a Hookah, this is not the place. It is swarmed by kids who can’t do anything else on a Saturday night. Inattentive, poorly trained, and unprofessional staff.

Café Daze is a great local spot for hookah without going into the city. They have an excellent selection of flavors. They also have a good amount of seating and good music. Highly recommended.

This place is great! I come here almost every day I’m one of the regulars I don’t go anywhere else. The staff is great and the hookah is amazing. The different combinations of Hooka is awesome and the prices are very cheap. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in smoking hookah, relaxing and having coffee/​tea on any day of the week. Perfect hours, hookah and staff, you can’t ask for anything more here at café daze. — Brandon
