I used to love the cheese fries however the owner decided to save money and switch the white American cheese to cheap processed nacho cheese. Then they USED to have quality mozzarella sticks now the owner decided to take the cheap route and down grade his cheese again to cheap plastic tasting cheese sticks. Did u think we weren’t gonna taste the difference on the quality of the cheese. It literally taste like melted plastic. Stop being cheap and buy quality cheese.

I always get the same thing from here so it kind of doesn’t count for me to do a review but it’s so good I have to get it all the time ! I typically get a platter and I absolutely love the coleslaw that comes with it, I never really liked that before I tried it from here and now every-time I try coleslaw from somewhere else I always say not as good as metro . Everyone is super friendly in there.

Great quick food to get when I am back home! Love their burgers and paninis. My fav is the italian panini. I add mayo and they give you pesto on the side. Omg soo good!!! My hubby loves the philadelphia one which comes with turkey cheese cole slaw and russian dressing. Also very yummy!

I made a Unilocal account literally so I could just write a review about this place and was sad the least I could give was one star :[. MENOLIKEY! First off, the staff is SUPER rude, both male AND female. They all look like they’d rather play catch with a porcupine than tend to their customers, not my fault your job sucks. Sorry. The food is eh, a little overpriced. Last time I ate there ordered a buffalo chicken wrap and it was a wrap filled with lettuce and a very small amount of chicken just in the middle. This place is close to home but I’d rather take a drive and spend my money on better food and service, or go a few steps down to Bagels Galore.

Really good burgers and hot dogs diner food type place. Came here as a teenager all the time and still eat it when I go home. The more burgers/dogs you buy, the more free food you get, so ordering in bulk is key. Always go «all the way» with the burgers/dogs/fries…the sauce is really tasty and has the right amount of spice. I enjoy the chili as well.

This was my favorite go to spot while I was at Willy P. Everything on the menu is pretty good ranging from breakfast platters, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, etc. The paninis and their fries(in anyway — cheese/gravy/etc) were my faves! The menu is decently priced(Many items at less than $ 8) and there’s a possibility that you may have leftovers too, which are perfect for those drunken nights! 99% of the time we opted for delivery which obviously can get a little slow(they take their last delivery order around 9:15 — 9:30?), but what do you expect being situated a minute away from a university? They’ve never messed up my order which is great! If you do go there in person, they’re pretty quick and you’ll be in and out within 15mins.

I used to buy lunch here like once a week when I lived in the area. I’ve had and really like their grilled chicken wrap, fries, and chicken caesar salads.

We like the Metro Grille for turkey burgers, chicken orzo soup, home fries, our favs, but they have a wide and affordable fast-grill menu and as one reviewer said real ice cream! There is plenty of sitting room and a tight but mostly manageable parking lot. They are open late and deliver. I also appreciate that when I ask them to put my fries in a paper bag or wrap the burger in foil in my ongoing effort to reduce packaging, and recycle as much as possible, they do so without question– the grill men nod at me in response as if they buy into this whole green movement too!

While I lived in Haledon and Prospect Park, this was the place I got my dogs from. I preferred Hanges, but these guys delivered. They are pretty damn good, and well priced — 2 dogs, burger, wrap, 2 fries, soda usually about $ 20 delivered. The menu is more than just dogs and burgers — it’s almost a full diner menu, with breakfast and dinner platters. Only gripe — the staff is mostly from the local college, so there are times when it’s obivously most new folks and things dont go smooth. I would go here, and wouldn’t be ashamed to recommend it to anyone looking for local chili dogs.

A convenient local option for lunch or dinner for under $ 15. Yes, it has a pretty extensive menu with the standard fare of burgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches, along with breakfast and salads. I like their homemade daily soups a lot, along with their paninis. Never any problems, and you get what you expect!

MVG is a nice option to have in your back pocket if you live in the area. I’m a big fan of the fried broccoli and cheese nuggets and the fried corn nuggets. They have some pretty decent paninis… the italian one is the best in my opinion. I don’t like the wraps though, they’re usually pretty soggy as are the fries. Reasonable prices are what keep me coming back.

The Metro View is convenient, and that’s about one of the best things they have going for them. Oh, and a small ice cream cone is only 89cents. Can’t forget that. Metro View Grille is your standard burger and fry joint, with a slightly more extensive menu than most. I used to enjoy the chicken caesar wraps. Used to.
