Had an order of Mussels with the wife as an appetizer, glad I did not order that as a meal. Maybe 25 mussels… garlic butter and white wine cooked in is a bit weak, some celery/onions and tomatoes would do wonders for it. Bread served with it was simply a hot dog bun(okay, maybe a sub bun) ripped apart and put on the side of the bowl. Very disappointing. Had fish and chips,. a huge coating of breading, looked like egg rolls and was not very crisp. Wife had chicken tender basket, okay but nothing to write home about.

The waitress in our area was terrible. Took her forever to do anything. Simple drink orders. Forget it. And don’t even think your going to get a refill, even if you politely ask for one. Our meal did come out fairly quickly. The problem was we didn’t have silverware. Flagged her down to get some for us and you would think an apology and forks and knives would come very quickly. No. She disappeared again. Some gentleman sitting across from us saw what was going on and offered up their’s. Unbelievable! ! No tip for her and will be a longtime if ever going back.

First let me preface this review by saying my boyfriend is a patient guy. We went to the green turtle to watch a football game and the hostess was kind enough to sit us next to the right TV. Once we realized the game wasn’t on any TV even though it was assigned — we requested it was changed to the right station and ordered beers. After 20 minutes, no beer, no game, and no server… So we left. Never again. Worst service ever.

I ordered the Margherita Flatbread pizza and it was very good. A big disappointment were the chili nachos. For $ 12 I would expect some quality but the chili tasted canned and the bottom layer of chips/cheese was, literally, baked on to the paper underneath. It looked like it was nuked to the point of petrification. Service was fine except that the waiter found the cemented nachos funny. Not worth a trip back for the money.

I went there to watch an NBA game but by the time I had my drink and ordered my food they told me they don’t have the NBA package. Very disappointing for a «sports bar». Also I had the Thai pork tacos and they were decent.

Awesome restaurant. Excellent appetizers and entrees. Alexa is the greatest hostess, and Wendy is the best waitress you could ask for!!! Happy Hour specials are extremely good. The Mug Club is great for beer drinkers. If you come here, I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

My son, his friend(age 16) and I showed up for a burger tonight. We were greeted, seated, and brought drinks. Our burgers arrived which were good. Our server never asked us about our meal. I put my credit card out because the kids were leaving to get gas. Our plates were not cleared and the waitress never checked on us. The bill was 60 $ for mediocre service and food. Will never return. Been in the business too long

The management is the problem here. Everything trickles down from that. If you’re lucky enough to be seated by any hostess, you’ll wait forever to see any server. Once you see a server and imagine you’ll get your drinks, appetizers, and food in a timely manner, forget it. That won’t happen. If you bother to complain to management, they get on the defensive, do nothing to admit responsibility or compensate you, and it never gets better if you give it another try — over and over. It’s a shame because if you ever get waited on, the food is fairly good. The problem is that they do not have enough servers, and there is zero direction within the place. It doesn’t even matter if you go on a Monday or a Saturday. It’s just so poorly managed!

«The Greene Turd-Hole» The menu is very limited. Mostly burgers and fried foods. One time I got the brownie sundae and had a STEAKKNIFE trying to cut through the brownie and with all my strength I could not get it to go even half way through. I told the waiter and he removed it from the bill so… that was nice service I guess. During the sporting events the football dominates all other audio so if you’re cool with only video on any sport that’s not football this is your place. Overall I’d say its not the beat establishment in any area of service. I’ve taken to calling this place«the Greene turd-hole».

Another visit, another delightful meal. The menu has been updated with some new food & drinks. Crab dip appetizer. Always. And always fantastic! Hubby had the Cowboy burger. Very good. I had the fish & chips. The fish was perfectly cooked. Moist, almost creamy meat. Batter was light and crisp. Not greasy. A spin on the usual tartar sauce that was very good. We tried the monkey bread dessert. Pretty good but the bread was a bit tough.

I’ve been to this location about 3 times, but have been to Greene Turtles in other areas as well. This location’s food is still good, but plan on being here for about 2 hours. Friends and I have been and almost been late for movies that we would ordinarily be on time to no problem. The service is super slow and usually lacking in the ‘friendly’ department.

The wraps & Fish Tacos are exceptional. Fun dining option. Quick, friendly, & clean. Individual TVs & big screens w/a rotating sports selection.(Football, ice hockey, snow boarding, swimming, beach volleyball & basketball seen on the screens)

Great food, a good selection on the menu to pick from. I would recommend trying it out.

The menu sucks, the food on the menu sucks… They usually have some decent beers and will put whatever sporting event you’re interested in on the tv. So if you want a beer during a game it’s ok; but I would eat before you go.

They are ok. Nothing to write home about. Way overpriced based on the quality of the food. But, the servers are nice and the individual TVs at the booths are a nice touch(though having to ask for a remote is a pain in the butt!). Normally I skip them when going to dinner.

I am always hear with the family and have never had a bad meal. Great staff and location. Food always prepared as ordered. Our regular waitress knows our drinks and meals so love that aspect. Good selection of beer, the even have a mug program where you can buy your own mug. Lots of TVs to catch big sports games.

Never get the fried chicken seasonal dish here. It’s not even fried chicken. It’s just a big chicken strip, not the same. The mashed potatoes taste straight out of the box and the gravy is mediocre. The green beans are also really bad. But if you do ever eat here. Get a burger.

Great place for casual dining in Hagerstown. Always good service and good food. Much better than any of the giant chain restaurants in town.
