History
Established in 2011.
Chef owner Mark Berenato brings 25 years experience to his new trattoria restaurant. This is our first solo restaurant but our roots stem back to family restaurants in the late 1980’s and our grandparents in the late 60’s and 70’s.

Business Owner
I started my career in the restaurant business at the age of 15. I worked as dishwasher at a local, popular eatery called Scarpinatos in Blackwood NJ. I worked my way through the ranks of the kitchen until becoming sous chef at age 18. I stayed with the family for 15 years until I took a break from the kitchen and took a position as a Food Buyer in Atlantic City. I worked for both Caesar’s and Trump Properties in Atlantic City where I gained a lot of knowledge of the Food and Beverage Industry. I knew though, that cooking was my real passion. In October of 2011, I opened my first solo venture, da Soli. It is an 85 seat Italian Trattoria with unique dishes, charming interior, and affordable prices.
