Description

Specialties

Our sprawling lodge sits on 20 wooded acres, with nature trails and beautiful vistas near the Yosemite Valley. The massive open beam construction, lounges and breakfast areas create a warm and friendly environment for all of our welcomed guests. Come and enjoy the fresh country air and beautiful views of the pine covered Sierras from one of our large wooden decks! All of our rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated with private bathrooms and a private entrance from outside through French doors.

(0ctober — March are our winter specials. Stay one night and the second night is free!)

History

Established in 1988.

The Berkshire Inn was built in 1988 by the Yates family, with country comfort and luxury in mind. Nestled in the historic community of Groveland, the most convenient gateway to Yosemite National Park, the Berkshire Inn’s location seemed like a beautiful and prime location to build a lodge for travelers interested in Yosemite and touring the Gold Rush country. The Berkshire Inn is still a family owned and operated business to this day.

Meet the Manager

Chris Y.

Manager

Chris helped build the Berkshire Inn with his family as a teenager, and now runs and oversees the daily operations of the Berkshire Inn. In his spare time he enjoys hiking in the Sierras, camping and fishing, and getting off the grid into the wilderness. He knows the Sierras like the back of his hand, so ask for a recommendation if you’re looking for something to do in the area!
