History

Established in 2014.

DIGISIST is a business located in Groton, CT that was created because it’s owner, Christopher M. Calkins Jr., found a need that was not being fulfilled. After returning from University, Christopher worked in a couple different positions before taking a job with a General Contractor based out of Mystic, CT. In his first year working for this company, he discovered that he had a gift for identifying process and procedure issues and rectifying them with sustainable solutions.

After having many discussions with the vendors and subcontractors that Christopher’s employer dealt with, he came to find that most small to medium sized companies cannot afford to employ a full time office staff. Even if they do have an office staff, there are many advanced or confidential tasks that they would rather not share with their day-​to-​day employees.

That’s when the idea of DIGISIST was created — an outsourced company that would setup, maintain and monitor day-​to-​day tasks and duties.
