I met my girlfriend here! Much like Brooke D, I love a good dive bar. This venue has all the elements of a good dive bar. Horrible décor, multiple tv’s, lottery machines, great bartenders, and cheap stiff drinks. Steve, Theresa, and Melissa are great staff members that make your stay at SRO fun and inviting. I also enjoy the fact that it makes for good people watching as well. You don’ t have too many of one of group so you definitely get a little bit everything. The funny part is three years later after Tina’s review the roof still leaks here when it heavily rains!

I like a good dive bar and this is it. Lots of TVs, but there was music when I was here, which works for me since I’m not a sports person. The food wasn’t on happy hour, but for $ 7 we got a 9″ hoagie LOADED with smoked(actually cooked in a smoker) chicken philly and a traditional philly. Both were delicious! The choice of a side was cool too — half order onion rings was a large basket, probably 20 rings and garlic mashed potatoes were a full normal bowl full. The potatoes are made from scratch and tasty, although there wasn’t a very strong garlic flavor. Onions rings tasted beer-battered. Very friendly staff and 25 oz beer for $ 4 happy hour, plus happy hour well drinks that were decently strong and $ 1 Jello shots! This is what a dive bar should be.

The ladies here are AWESOME… the roof leaks on us, but we still keep going here. Lots of big TV’s for all the sporting events. pool tables, and more. They are cooking up some chow to die for… the cooks are great. Good food, Big screen TV’s, Drinks and great service. I can’t wait for better weather so we can sit outside on the new deck.
